Lol no way you saw your bffs hubby?? Did you send her the link?! I browsed it once and it was too disgusting to keep looking at men are so gross. Most of the adds were begging for kinky sex and had a pic of a penis attached. And the men4men was even worse! I cannot even repeat what I saw over there! Lol Ickkk

Oh yes! I do this quite often when I’m bored lol. I like to look at the missed connections area and see if I can figure out who the ad might be from or who it’s intended for. I’ve only come across one or two that I could figure out, which surprised me a little bit because even though I wouldn’t call my city small, somehow everyone knows everyone, so I thought I’d recognize more lol. A lot of them are people that work in the factory or hang out at the bars, though, both unfamiliar territories to me, so that’s probably why! Oh, the things I resort to for entertainmentEmbarassed

Can’t say I ever have lol

My city is too big for it to be likely that an ad was by anyone I know (how could you tell anyway?) and even if it was… there are some things I wouldn’t want to know about my acquaintances, y’know?

@2beemrs:  Oh my gosh. I’ve totally done this several times. Like you, I’m just curious to see what people even say in personal ads. And usually, if the listing was written by a man, I’m just disgusted. Haha.

I did once because I was curious.

It really bothered me how many guys were posting ads specifically for ‘young looking’ girls who would be willing to dress up as schoolgirls, but then hastily specified at the end “must be over 18” to avoid being accused of being paedophiles. It was super creepy!

@2beemrs:  Yep! We live in a small city so I almost ALWAYS see someone I know through someone or whatever. It’s a source of amusement!

I met my Fiancee from a Craig’s List personal ad I posted 6 years ago.  That was the first and last time I ever posted an ad. He was the first and only person to respond to the ad. Fate I guess

Haha I have in the past for a laugh but I haven’t in a while.  Actually my former co-worker looks at the personals and the missed connections and saw one about me Embarassed  We think it was one of our regulars.  Good-looking guy and very nice, but I was with my FI and it kinda creeped me out.  It was worth a laugh though.
