I used to have an ongoing joke that my tear ducts are broken… I NEVER cried. Really, never!
Lately, I cry ALL THE TIME! I hear a song, I cry. Read something, I cry. Watch a movie, cry. Sometimes I’ll just be driving and start thinking and cry. Even wedding planning, which I’m super excited about, makes me cry.
What the hell… has anyone else turned into an emotional mess, or is it just me??

i’ve always been like that.
practically every episode of Boy Meets World, Hallmark commercials, Disney commercials, talking about Walt Disney (especially explaining how his death affected different people and parts of the company), listening to songs about sad parts in Harry Potter, realizing yet again that there will be no more Harry Potter books or movies, etc…
Everything makes me cry.

@destiny1120: My wedding is the 5th of November and honestly I think it’s because we are getting close to the big day. I cried the other day because I looked, LOOKED, at my To Do list. And I used to LOVE to-do lists! I hope the old me comes back after the wedding….

I’ve always been a crier, just like rosworms but I have noticed lately it’s getting much worse with stress. No idea how to stop it, I just keep a box of kleenex handy all the time, ha!

I’ve always been quick to cry but in the months leading up to the wedding I was an emotional basket case. I remember crying my eyes out when I wrote the check to the caterer. Not because of the amount but because I was just SOOO happy. Anything that was even slightly happy would make me misty eyed. It made no sense but I couldn’t help it. I just felt so loved and happy!

I am a crying mess for sure. I don’t know what it is but I am just overwhelmed with so many different emotions the past several months. As the wedding draws near, it just keeps getting worse! My FH has gotten to the point that he has to tell me just to stop it! ha! I think it is mostly the fact that we had planned on doing so many things for the wedding and with unexpected financial burdens, we are not able to do half of the things we originally wanted to. I know the day is much more than the details of the wedding but it’s still heartbreaking!
Also, when I got my dress, I was a wreck. I lost my mother several years ago and the fact that she was not there, it was quite emotional. I went with a good friend to purchase my dress and we had sushi and plenty of wine after that rollercoaster of a day! ha!
I am so ready for this to be over. I thought this was suppose to be such a happy and exciting time! Don’t get me wrong, we have enjoyed the process at times but overall, I am ready just to carry on with the next stage of my life!

I am a major crier. It gets pretty silly. I can’t handle those ASPCA comercials. Those always make me cry. I have even been known to cry watching a game show.

Love this post! I have 2 toddlers ages 2 and 3. Prior to them you would NEVER catch me crying. I literally mean NEVER. Now is a completely different story. I work full time, go to school part time, have the kids, plan wedding stuff… Talk about stress!! I could be fine.. pull up to a red light and the water works come!! It came to the point it was all the time. FINALLY Last December I actually went to the Dr. And he on meds. lol That makes me sound like a whack job! But it helps so much with me getting overwelmed with EVERYTHING.

I have times when I’m super-emotional. This can range from easily getting teary to getting very giggly. I find I am most emotional just before my period as well.

During the year-plus that I was planning my wedding, I totally cried all the time. When my Darling Husband (FI at the time) emailed me his draft for his vows, I had to run to the bathroom so I wouldn’t start crying at work! It’s a highly emotional time for everyone, but I think especially for the bride. Planning a huge party (and vacation–yay!), getting ready to take the biggest step of your life, trying to ensure good communication between yourself and all your friends and family, making everyone happy, dealing with vendors, dealing with money, oh and trying to be the hottest/thinnest/prettiest you’ve ever been in your life? Makes me wanna cry just thinking about it!

Ha! Yeah, on top of everything else, I have been working out like crazy and dieting to look perfect for the big day! I enjoy working out as it relieves a lot of stress but with a deadline looming, it’s not quite as fun.
Oh, and the money, don’t get me started. It is just one big expense after another.

So glad its not just me!
@surfsidebride: I thought maybe i was still emotional from the loss of my Grandma 2 months ago. A definite possibility as I can’t imagine the day without her either!
