Does anyone else ditch heels when they are with their spouse?

@nerdwife12:  I wish I had this problem! 🙂  I’m barely 5’1″ and he’s 5’8″ and I’m starting to get to that point where I tend to wear flats out a lot – it’s just not worth the pain anymore.  #problemsofgettingold 😀

I think it’s totally fine to wear flats!

@nerdwife12:  I prefer stable, supportive flats because I think heels are really bad for your feet, back, etc. It has nothing to do with MrPanda99 – he’s tall and I could easily wear heels if I wanted to. I just don’t 😛 Chances are, I will be in flats at our wedding, lol.

I’m 5’5 and DH is 6’5 and I hardly ever wear heels around him or just in general.

I like wearing heels when we go out some place nice. My husband is tall so no matter how high my heels are he is still much taller. In every day life I prefer to wear flats though.

I personally love wearing heels because it makes my legs look thinner without having to diet.  My husband is 6’2″, so I could wear some pretty massive heels before I was his height, but I tend not to due to comfort (3.5″ max w/no platform).  I say wear what makes you comfortable, I’m sure you’ll want to dance at the wedding.

That question would require me to wear heels like……..ever. xD

I have ballet flats and flip flops and tennis shoes and slippes and moccasins. And that’s it.

The only time I’m wearing heels is my wedding day and I will be taking them off as soon as I set foot in the reception hall. 🙂

I’d rather be comfortable.

DH HATES when I wear heels. Its not the height thing I’m 5″0 and he’s 5″10. He likes me to look not so dressed up plus he likes me to look very short compared to him. I like wedges though I am starting to purchase more flats

I’m very tall and wearing heels make me taller than DH.  In general I don’t let that stop me, although for really big events (like our wedding) I did wear flats.  I prefer to own my tall status and be proud of it.  But whatever works for you.

I wear sneakers 90% of the time (including to work) so I would go with flats. Fi is a bit taller than me, but he likes me to dress more casually, and I am happy to oblige! I bought a nice pair of flat sandals to wear to. A wedding we are attending soon, and i have a pair of low heels for our ceremony but then I’ll change into flats straight after.

I’m 5’3, but DH is only 5’6 (he claims he’s 5’7, but I know the truth).  I treasure the small amount of height differential that we do have, so it’s flats for this lady.
