I get distracted too by mine. the other day I was walking my dogs and looking at my ring.  There was a tree with a low branch so I walked right into it and of course it was raining earlier that day so my face got soaked. lol all I kept thinking was I hope no one saw that.  Beautiful rings btw, heres mine.

I got distracted by my ring in a stats final to the point it took me a good few minutes to get my head back to the test.  Those flourescent lights are amazing for bringing out the sparkles in my ring.

I’ve been wearing my ERing now for over a year (June 2012) and I still find myself admiring it all the time.  Lol, it is just so freakin’ gorgeous.

Anywhere there incredible lighting is the worse… I’ll be off in la-la-land for sure.

In the car (thankfully only when I am the passenger) – anywhere that has those pinpoint halogen lights… often found in Bars & Restaurants, some Stores, and ALL Jewellery Stores.

Cannot tell you how many times Mr TTR & I have been in a restaurant somewhere, and he’s looking over the menu and says “What you gonna have Hon ?”… and I’m like “uhh, what ?? “

I’m not reading the menu, I’ve spent the last 10 minutes turning my hand around at various angles to see how my ring catches the light, and just staring at it and smiling.

Of course when he lowers the menu, after my “uhhh, what ??” he shakes his head and says “ya right, I should have known”

@DarlingClementine:  haha… Ooooh supermarket has those pinpoint lights in the Produce Dept.

I just recall another fave place to ring admire.  Swimming Pools on a bright shiny day.  Between the water and the sunshine bouncing around, one’s Diamonds (or other gemstones for that matter) can look amazing !!

On our Honeymoon, I spent a good deal of time hanging out at the Hotel & Cruise Ship Pools for just this reason.

BEST reflection (dot bouncing) I’ve seen since I got my Ring(s) !!

@DarlingClementine:  I even get extracted by mine and it’s a little guy- .50 carats.

But seriously, it sparkles like crazy and is just soooooo fire-y, especially in the kitchen, stores, etc…..
