(Closed) Does anyone else have problems contacting their vendors?!

Oh no I hope you hear from them soon!  If you still can’t hear from them, I would consider trying to get the BBB involved since you paid for a service and you should get it!

Ugh, unfortunately, this happened to us, too. But I’m seeing your date is soon approaching! We had a TON of trouble contacting vendors in the lull period (between booking the vendors and before that two-month rush before the wedding). Sometimes, after you sign, they just ignore you until one to two months before the wedding because that’s when they start to focus on their clients more. I’m don’t think it’s right, but that was the trend I was noticing with us!

I had the same problem with my cake lady. It was like pulling teeth to try to get ahold of her (she never answered her phone) or to get her to call me back.

I agree with you, they are busy, but they do need to make time to call their customers back otherwise enough bad feedback can affect their reputation. You’d think once they got to a certain “busy” threshold in their career, they would hire someone as a backup assistant or something, to help keep in direct contact with customers..

I agree….in particular with our photographer. Initially, she would call/email with lightening speed with she wanted us to sign, but when I contacted her last month; it took almost 2 weeks. She replied that this was the busiest time of year for time; I don’t care, I have paid in full and expect a timely response!!

It will be interesting to see how she is as the date draws near; I do know that I am not recommending her to anyone
