I am an Office freak! I love love love this show and I am so sad that Michael is leaving but having just seen the preview for next week I can't wait! It shows Michael preparing to propose to Holly! I hope she says yes and they end it by them getting married! Michael deserves it. Anyone else out there watching the show....????
@pec1216: I know! I'm so excited! That episode comes on tomorrow right?
We watch! Its weird though because I used to really not like it! haha. Until about 2-3 years ago (when it started being on tbs all the time) I just didn't "get it." I didn't understand it was a mocumentary and I thought it was weird that they looked at the cameras all the time. I didn't get the interview things. Then I started watching more and now I love it! We've been watching them live for the first time this year and I'm excited for Thursday!
*side note: do they ever explain WHY they are doing the documentary? That's the only thing I don't understand..
I am ADDICTED! I watch the reruns on Netflix alllllll the time and I am so excited to see that episode!
I love The Office and I can't wait for the proposal, even though that means Michael will be leaving soon. :(
@Corgitales: I've never seen them explain why they do the documentary (and I've watched each episode an embarrassing amount of times).
Love the office. Ever since I started working in an office (3 years ago) I have been a faithful viewer.
Ok this may sound really dorky but I might shed a few tears when Michael proposes.
I love The Office! I had never watched it until BF sat me down and told me I would love this show. I sat on his couch and caught myself up from the previous six seasons in about eight months. Now we watch season 7 together.
I'm so excited for tomorrow night's episode althought I am really sad Michael's leaving.
@LetsGoPens: I'll probably shed some tears too when Michael proposes. I did when Jim proposed to Pam so I know I will when Michael proposes.
@kayely88: okay so i didn't cry so much at Jim proposing, but at their wedding! At the very end when he says "The boat was actually Plan C. Plan B was the church. Plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago..." *tear* so cute! Also at one point (maybe the proposal episode? I don't remember) He mentions that he bought the ring like a week after they started dating or something. I love Jim/Pam.
OMG! I LOVE THE OFFICE! I can watch it over and over and it never gets old. I will be soooo sad to see Michael leave.
@CorgiTales: Jim and Pam are my favorite. I see a lot of my FI and I in them- Friends first, unspoken understandings, and inside jokes. Their wedding made me cry. My favorite quote was about about them by Kevin: "Jim and Pam go together like peanut butter and jelly. Wait a second! PB & J? Pam Beasley and Jim? YESSSSS....."
Okay I have to admit that I've cried several times watching the Office. I had a tear when Jim came back from NY and asked Pam to dinner. I just knew it was the start of something special. I teared up again when Jim proposed to Pam. Cried big tears on their wedding episode when Jim was giving his toast,
"Four years ago, I was just a guy who had a crush on a girl who had a boyfriend. And I had to do the hardest thing I've ever had to do, which was to wait. And don't get me wrong, I flirted with her...I just had little moments with a girl who saw me as a friend. And a lot of people told me I was crazy to wait this long for a date with a girl who I worked with, but I think that even then I knew that I was waiting for my wife."
How sweet is that?!?!? Also when he cut his own tie to make her feel better about her ripped veil and the escape to the boat. Just a great episode!
I will cry when Michael leaves!
@pec1216: I'm so excited for this episode. Michael deserves so much happiness after his run of women. The Jim & Pam proposal was so cute and heartfelt. I always cry whenever their wedding comes on. Just buckets of tears. Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor) wrote the wedding episodes. She did such an amazing job conveying their relationship. Thanks to that episode, I would have gladly hopped on a boat and gotten married before the ceremony on the same day!! Also, the wedding episode was the same time as my wedding, so it's special to me. We didn't watch it until the Monday after the wedding and had friends not tell us about it. I think it's cool to say that you got married the same weekend as Jim & Pam did.
Yep, I'm looking forward to the proposal. Also, I loved the preview with the "3 years salary" and Oscar shaking his head! Classic.
I have cried countless times over Jim and Pam. In the very beginning when she's still with Roy and Jim confesses he likes her. She goes back up to the office and calls her mom. Jim walks in and kisses her *SOB.*
Jim comes back from New York and asks her to dinner as she's saying everything's perfect that they're just friends. She turns back to the camera and asks, "What was the question again?" SOB.
Jim meets Pam halfway at a gas station and proposes in the pouring rain. SOBSOB.
Jim buys his parents house for them? SOB!
Pam calls him in on their wedding day because her veil tore and he cuts off half of his tie for her. SOB.
Jim shows the ring to the camera and says he bought it a week after they started dating.... SOB.
You get the picture haha. I'm sad that Michael is leaving, but I've been waiting for Holly to dump AJ and get back with him so I'm glad it's happening. Also, Will Ferrel will be taking his spot which could be pretty funny! I can already see him and Rainn Wilson fighting over power :)
@pec1216: It's okay I've cried many times too! Especially during those parts!
@CorgiTales: I definitely cried when he said that at the end of their wedding episode. That was so sweet and adorable.
Basically I've cried many times for Jim and Pam. Especially when her parents are getting a divorce and she has Jim talk to her dad and she comes back to the office and tells Jim that what he feels for her is no where comparable to what her dad felt for her mom and she cries and he gives her a hug. That makes me tear up so bad.
@firsttimemom: All these too!
I never got into the show until my friend hooked up my Wii with his Netflix account. Now I'm totally hooked and I try to catch up whenever I can. I <3 Jim and Pam!
I love, love, LOVE the Office!! I love catching moments in my real life work and saying "this could totally be on The Office." It's one of my favorite shows ever. I am SO excited about the proposal tomorrow night! I am really sad Michael's leaving, but I do love that he and Holly have been reunited.
I love this show! I feel like it was the beginning of a whole new era of good tv. thank god for sitcoms finally dropping the laugh track and having good writers!
The best moment in The Office for me was the Booze Cruise episode, where Jim and Pam go outside and she teases him about his gf, and he's silent for like 30 seconds trying to get the words out. AGAGHHHH!!!!
I liked Karen too though. I felt bad for her - she was a victim.
I think the show was at its best in seasons 1 - 3, but I still watch. I don't even understand what's going to happen now without Steve Carell!
@berkie: my prediction is that the show will end this season after michael scott leaves. I'm actually hoping it will. it is literally my favorite show, but I'm afraid they'll run it into the ground. better end while it's still good!
@janie-janie: I agree. I will be sad to see it go, but I really think they should end it this season.
I love this show and the best part ever is when Dwight makes the fire to show the about fire safety and Angela throws her cat into the ceiling. hahahaha!
OmG! This post couldn't be more timely. I am remodeling and without a TV, so I signed up for Netflix to pass the time. I watched all 6 seasons in a weeks time and I am HOOKED. I don't think I've ever laughed out loud so much for a TV show. I thought it was stupid before, everyone just looking at the camera and talking. I'm so glad I gave it a chance.
I have to go hide stuff in jello now.
@stbMohror:AH! Yes!
My DH and I are dead set on naming one of our children Rainn Wilson. Because, well, then at least the kid will come pre-programmed with at least SOME schrute-skills
@firsttimemom: QUESTION: Will you school your child in the ways of beet farming and karate?
@firsttimemom: Your child will know his rules for sure...
Dwight Schrute: Rule 17: Don't turn your back on bears, men you have wronged, or the dominant turkey during mating season. There are forty rules all Schrute boys must learn before the age of five. [starts singing a nursery rhyme] Learn your rules. You better learn your rules. If you don't you'll be eaten in your sleep!

I love the one where Jim dresses up like Dwight and says to him: "bears. beets. battlestar galactica." LOL!!!
I love the office. I feel like I am getting sick of all the reruns on all the time, but I do love the show. However, I feel it went downhill since this year's Christmas party episode. :/ And I can't believe Michael is leaving.
@janie-janie: my little brother gave me a birthday card with Jim saying that in it! I cracked up laughing! My brother can also play the intro music to the show on the piano and does it all the time when I come to visit.
@pec1216: This is by far my favorite Dwight quote and I just love the chomping sound he makes at the end of it LOL.
I have to say some people see themselves in Pam and Jim but my fiancee and I see ourselves as Michael and Holly. Goofy, with a weird sense of humor, addicted to PDA "I don't sit on your lap because it's comfortable I sit on your lap because I like the way your butt feels on my thighs!" but crazy in love. LOL.
I just love Michael and Holly is perfect for him.
Can't wait to watch that episode!! I'm rooting for Michael Scott! I love happy endings!
My fave episode was Pam's wedding. I don't want a wedding but if I had to have one I'd want to steal Pam & Jim's wedding entrance (even if the original idea was from a youtube vid).
FI and I are huge Office nuts! We've seen every episode and we often make Office related jokes between the two of us.
I even just got a little magnetized notepad for the fridge in our new place that's got Jim on it.
UPDATE: Okay I cried! I'll admit it! That was one of the sweetest proposals ever! EVER!!!! But Michael definitely took the sweet out of the moment when he announced they would be moving to Colorado and he was leaving. Even though I knew it was coming eventually it made my little Office loving heart sink to hear him say it. Oh and as I'm wiping my eyes after the proposal, my FI looks over at me and says, "Really?" Like you’re really crying over a TV proposal. Given that I didn't even cry when he proposed to me, guess I can see where he's coming from. Oooops!
@pec1216: I actually have a day-to-day calendar with Office quotes and the learn your rules one I kept and pinned to my wall at work because everytime I read it, it cracks me up.
Oh, and I totally bawled last night. What an amazing episode!! (I didn't cry when my FI proposed either ;-) )
