He really has no interest in the wedding planning :/ whateva, that just means I can make the decisions LOL. And my parents are paying, he just needs to show up.

He doesn’t react except to have a moment of happiness over progress toward a goal. LOL.

I know it will hit him on the day-of when it all comes together and he will just bawl.

@Eckle:  He’s a big softie when he’s alone with me, but to everyone else, he’s made of stone 😛 And I laughed at the “noble gas” poll option… For some reason I automatically said in my head “whoa boy, there’s one thing his gases are, and they definitely AREN’T noble…!”

Yup my husband did the same thing.  After we were married it just got better and better.  Sounds like you have a man who is able to express his feelings and that it always great!

Nope. I was the same as he was before. He’s always been very loving though.

He was a noble gas — I don’t think I could have gotten him to care if his life depended on it.

Thats so cute.  My FI isn’t really involved in the planning. So..in order to try not to do everything and make all the decisions myself I do “Ok, these are my two favorites invites, which do you want?” Or “Ok, we’re going cake tasting next week. You need to be there” LOL He likes that we’re getting married but isn’t really into the planning of the wedding.

HAHAHA ! I voted His hand slowly creeps to his butt in order to protect his wallet.

Seriously, we’re both like that. He doesn’t show his emotions much. Not that he doesn’t have any, I can’t say his attitude changes when it comes to wedding planning. He doesn’t get excited about it or anything. We decide everything together, but it’s not something he likes to do. He will enjoy the wedding day more, unlike me who also enjoys the planning, crafting and all. And we both hate to spend for it, lol.

@Eckle:  He’s totally down for planning and excited IN THEORY.

In reality, actually planning stresses him out and he gets fidgety and moany and tries to get out of doing it, even though we’ve made plans. Which would be fine, except he insists on being involved, then doesn’t want to do it.

He is, however, very happy to be getting married, but the planning bit and the run up to the wedding are giving him the wiggins. I’m getting them a little too, but I’m treating planning as a puzzle that needs to be solved, so it’s distracting me a little!

Nope, my guy does the same thing, he’s so freaking excited to get married, he’s so excited for the wedding, he batts his eyelashes at me every time we make a planning move.

Like you two, he’ll do his  “wedding homework” for our officiant and then want to snuggle after. He told me he’s been so happy writing out all these things about us and the wedding.

It’s very funny to me, especially since I’m the one who gets cranks and puts my handon my wallet haha! 😀

My SO loves the planning process, I think it bring us closer and we communicate better.
