I only have them as tiny melee sidestones (ranging from light champagne to a darker cognac). I am biased but I think they are gorgeous and range from a very light champagne that almost looks white in some lighting to a dark cognac/chocolate.

I have seen some centrestones on Pricescope though.

Personally I love them, as I am not fond of colourless stones and their “earthier”/”warmer” colours work very well on me and are appealing to my eye, but they definitely can vary in colour a lot depending on what other tones are in the stone. Definitely something you need to see, as in see each stone you are thinking of buying, in person, in my opinion.

@MrsDeco:  I don’t own one but recently I went to try on rings and saw one in person. I fell in love and wouldn’t mind one as a solitaire actually. It looked great with my skin tone.

I don’t have one, but I have my eyes on a few LeVian peices that I am madly in love with. I might actually save and buy one of them myself! I love their chocolate and champage diamonds! These are the ones that I have my eyes on.

And my absoultly favourite. It’s way prettier in person lol

Oops just noticed you wanted real lif pictures of them. I don’t have any, since I don’t own any set rings lol. The LeVian facebook page has tons of their chocolate diamonds on it!

I have one! No pics yet, lol, but I’ll try to get one soon. Mine is a C4 with yellow-gray-greenish undertones. It changes color like crazy– going from lemon yellow to honey gold to gray and even olive. Way more fun than a white diamond, imo πŸ™‚

This is my natural Cognac Diamond engagement ring. My fiance picked it out himself. I don’t know its ct weight but its ‘hearts and arrows’ cut. He proposed in the evening so I didn’t get to see it properly until the next day. My first thought when he opened the box was admittedly “what is that!?!” When I finally saw it in the sunlight I LOVED it!! I love the deep and dramatic orange! I don’t personally know anyone with a colored diamond so I had never put thought to it. Now I wouldn’t want anything else! I’ll post a top view when I get the chance so you can see the light move through it.

Now that I’m married I have the time to post again!! Top view of my cognac diamond e-ring as promised! I’ve been told countless times from family, and strangers too, that I’m (apparently) wearing my rings in the wrong order. For the record, since someone is bound to mention it, I dont care. πŸ˜› I found that my e-ring doesn’t catch on things if its first and its the most comfortable way. Also it won’t cost as much to replace the band, vs the e-ring, should it ever need to be. πŸ™‚

For years, I always thought I wanted a sapphire engagement ring. After agonizing over sapphires for weeks and getting one chosen, I happened to see some champagne diamond engagement rings the antique jeweler had as well. I couldn’t decide between two, and left it for FI to do. He didn’t pick my preferred ring, but the one he did pick is amazing! It’s smaller than I’d expected, but the color of the diamond is absolutely lovely, especially set against regular colored diamonds. I love that it’s still traditional in the sense my ering is a diamond, but unique in that it’s a different color!

@Indi7:  When I went to try on wedding bands and had my rings on in the order you have yours, the jeweler made me feel like an idiot for doing it that way. Well how was I supposed to know there was a supposed way to do it? It’s not like I have experience in these things- you’re only supposed to have one set of these in your lifetime, aren’t you?! Haha. Anyway, who cares! They’re your rings. I prefer it the way you have it!
