I'm pretty addicted to this show. Is anyone else? And if so who is your favorite couple?
I really like Tyler and Catelynn, and Macy is another favorite.
I love Catelynn! She was so smart to give up her baby for adoption. It's heartbreaking what she is going through, but she is such a strong girl!
LOVE that show! Maci is my favorite and I also love Catelynn & Tyler
omg it is my favorite show on tv... how weird am i?! Catelynn and Tyler are definitely my favorite. They're just so sweet and I feel like Tyler is the only decent guy we've seen on that show. (Ironic being that he is one of the most weird looking wardrobe-wise). I like macy a lot as well... never cared for Ryan.
I like Farrah okay... I feel like I like her a little better this season because we're finding out more about her past and her mom. Last season (and during 16 and pregnant) I really thought she was just a spoiled brat. Now I feel like she has some really valid complaints and is doing the best she can. That episode with Sophia's birthday was so heartbreaking! I wanted to punch her mom.
I do not care for the other couple (and actually can't remember their names right now). Gary and whoever. I think they are both selfish and annoying.
I LOVE Teen Mom! I've only seen some of lst seson and now I don't miss show from this season. My favorite is Macy! I like all of them pretty much except for Amber
i love teen mom, i love catelynn and tyler too, Maci is cool to. I cant stand Amber & Gary how can you act like that and yell so much around your child Poor baby girl! Ryan is a jerk and i heard about Farrahs baby daddy, someone sent me the link about him being in a car accident. That is so sad because on 16 and pregnant the mom did tell her not to have anything to do with him.
I watch too! I like everyone but Amber and Gary. I'm liking Farrah a lot more this season.

Ok here's what I think -
Maci - actually seems like a good mom. I'm glad she didn't move into that house with 4 girls, would have been a bonehead move with a 1 year old.
Catelynn and Tyler - they kind of frustrate me. It almost seems like they could have kept their baby and done ok raising her, they would have had to make sacrifices, but they probably could have done it. I wonder if they are taking it so hard because they kind of realize that on some level?
Farrah - don't love her, she seems bratty, but I do feel like her mom is a bonafide whack job. The latest episode where they were having her daughter's 1st birthday at a restaurant - and her mom was totally ignoring her - omg!
Amber and Gary - a lot of drama. They seem like they're really trying to make a go of it for their daughter. I didn't like how Gary took a '1 day break' to date that other teen mom he picked up at wal mart. Not cool. I think Amber's getting it more together though now vs. in earlier seasons.
I love Teen Mom!!! :) suuuuch an addiction! I am really happy that it is the same girls this season. I like Maci the best because I think she does a fairly good job (so far) at being a mother.
Yesh I disliked Ferrah in the older season as I really felt like she was acting like a spoiled brat. But now that she is opening up on the show we can better understand why she acts the way she does. It's so sad about her losing the Sophia's daddy. And how her mom is such a wack job.
As far as Amber and Gary...oh my goodness talk about crazy!!! Especially in the last episode when she was like I want to get married and they got in the big fight and Gary said he wasn't ready but gave her her ring as a promise ring...okayyy. And the previews for the next one shows him propsing to her and she's bitching about that too.
There's a show about being a teen mom? I guess I've hidden from that stuff as I'm the product of teen pregnancy (mom 16, dad 17) and am now almost 31. It's so hard growing up in that situation that people can't even imagine. This doesn't even take into account my Moose.
I absolutely LOVE this show! I've watched it from the start. Farrah used to drive me crazy but now I feel bad for her with the loss of her boyfriend and the way her mom is starting to show her true colors. If I were Farrah I'd be angry too! I also feel sorry for poor Sophia. Farrah doesn't quite have the parenting skills to manage on her own. It was awful the way she left Sophia sitting in a sink full of water and burn her hand!
Sometimes i watch this show...i can't turn away! And seriously, it makes me want to go to the nearest high school and hand out condoms!
I watch this show all of the time. Tyler and Catelynn are my faves, but Maci is great too.
I can't stand Amber. I roll my eyes at her everytime lol
I love this show! FI even watches it with me. I think Maci is the best one on the show so far. Amber is definitely my least favorite. Catelyn and Tyler are so brave for giving up their daughter so she can have a better life. Kuddos to them
So so addicted! I love Maci and Catelyn. Amber really bugs me and I'm glad that Farrah is in therapy because she isn't always the best mom.
I don't watch it on a regular basis, but I LOVE it when I catch the re-runs. I think Catelyn and Tyler are so adorable and I am soooo hoping they make it. They seem like such a sweet couple. I think Gary is absolutely awful. I want to kick him in the knee caps all the time. The guy is a complete jerk...
@snmcdowell: Yes, I don't understand that one. Or the time that she left her out in the hall way with the blanket over the car seat while she unloaded groceries. Totally thoughtless. I also think that because her mom is being so wacko (and has been) that it's harder for her to know how to be a mom herself.
I. Love. Teen. Mom! FI and I watch it together. We both like Tyler and Caitlyn and Macy but we can't stand Amber and Gary and Farrah. She always plays the victim and I can't stand it.
I want to slap farrahs mom everytime she talks to sophia or farrah in her stupid baby voice. She sounds so sickly and munipulative it makes me sick. Otherwise, love the show :)
I couldn't stand Farrah last season at all, but my heart really went out to her watching the last episode. I wanted to hit her mother! I think Maci does a great job with her son and his father is a freaking douche bag. And I love Tyler and Catelynn. They're very mature for their age and you can tell they really care about each other.
Love this show! My mom comes over to watch it with me lol. I started watching it when I was pregnant. Love maci. I can't stand amber and gary.
I haven't watched it this season (sounds like I've got some catching up to do!) but loved it last season.
I like Caitlyn and Tyler okay, they definately seem like the most down to earth couple. Given where they come from, they've turned out remarkably well. I do feel, however, (and I'll likely get a little flamage for this) that they're milking the adoption thing for everything it's worth. Whenever they talk about how hard it is to be a "parent" I want to yell at the T.V. She gave birth. He got her pregnant. They did something increadibly brave and selfless and that's wonderful, but they're not parents. They are not raising that child. I believe it was the right decision and very mature of them, but they kept referring to themselves as teen parents last season. They're not. In order to be a parent you have to, you know, parent. It just irks me a little bit. I know why MTV is staying with their story and I'm glad they are, but I wish they'd focus more on...I don't know.
I'm curious to see what everyone's referring to with respect to Farrah's attitude change. I was ready to punch the T.V. last season, she was such an insufferable brat. I think I might watch this season just to see what everyone's talking about!
Maci's got it together the most, by far. She's increadibly mature and I'm happy to know she's kicked that douche Ryan to the curb.
Amber and her man just need to go far, far away. They're both obnoxious. That kid doesn't stand a chance with those two.
Can't get enough, Maci is my favorite followed by Caitlynn.
I have a new soft spot for Farrah though after she talked about Sophia's father this week :(
Oh man, this is my guilty pleasure! I love watching even though I HATE Farrah. She should have Sofia taken away from her. She's the most horrible and irresponsible mom ever. She just lets her baby play with hot water! And she just calmly walks over and says, "oh, it's hot?" OMG!!! Take her away! I know her mom is crazy, but the way she talks to them and how ungrateful she is, I might have smacked her too! Sorry, but she does not give her parents any respect even though they are basically taking care of her baby and her.
Amber is crazy, too. I feel bad for Gary, and their baby. She's so cute!
I used to really like Catelynn, but this season she's not been so cool. Lying to Tyler? I love him!
I love Maci! And I'm so glad her son looks just like her so she doesn't have to see Ryan's stupid face when she looks at Bentley!

Ugh. I agree with everyone here - love Maci, like Catelynn and Tyler, am now learning to tolerate Farrah - and I don't even think that I've ever seen Amber smile once. She seems miserable.
Love this thread. DH teases me so bad about loving this show, though he does watch it with me sometimes and has his own opinions about all of them. Lol.
I like Caitlin and Tyler. I hope they do go to college, get married, have babies and live happily ever after. I also really like Maci. She seems to handle everything well and thankfully her parents seem to help her out a lot. I did not like Farrah last season at all but she seems to be having a "lightbulb moment" now that she's on her own. Amber and Gary, eh.
I can't stand Catelynn and Tyler. It bothers me they gave their baby up for adoption. Even though their families wanted them to keep the baby. I also am going to be in the minority when I say that giving a baby up for adoption isn't "brave" or "selfless". It's more taking the easy way out. Honestly the other moms are showing who you can bust your ass and take care of your baby and do your best to give your baby a good life. Babies don't need a lot of material things. They need their parents. I'm adopted and living proof adoption doesn't guarantee you a "better" life, just a different one.
I also think Farrah is kind of a brat. Yeah, her mom is coo coo for cocoa puffs but I would NEVER be allowed to talk to my mom the way she talks to hers.
I like Maci and some of my favorites were on 16 and pregnant (the first season) and I wonder how they're doing now. Mainly the one couple that was trying to go into the air force.

I think Macy is doing a really good job at balancing everything. I also think her parents do a good job at helping her without taking over. It was smart of her to not move in with her friends - that would have been disaster.
I'm still not sure about Farrah. She is definitely spoiled and not the brightest (she left her baby in the hall while unpacking - drag the car seat in, than unpack). BUT her mom is crazy and I did feel bad for her at the daughters birthday. Really, her mom wouldn't even acknowledge her or let her read the card to her daughter.
Tyler and Catlin made a smart and difficult choice, but given their family situations I'm sure they gave her daughter a lot of opportunities she wouldn't have had with them. They really seem to care about each other and I hope they make their relationship work.
Gary annoys me to no end! I don't know why Amber gave him 24hrs to date another girl than happily accepted him back. He's a lazy ass and not very nice to her. She seems to be maturing some, but I think she would do better without him around.
I SOBBED the first time I watched Tyler & Caitlin's episode. It was truly heartbreaking.
Sometimes I will come home and find BF watching this show all alone. Were addicted.

Even though I can see how hard it was on Tyler & Caitlin, I think it was a good idea for them to give their baby up because their home lives are just not stable. Especially when your step dad is your boyfriends father and especially with the very little space everyone is living in.
Gary & Amber make me want to punch both of them. Their violent and rediculous and they move in and they move out and then they get engaged and then he'd rather play video games. It's all just stupid.
What ever happened to the African American girl that was dating the caucasian boy. The ones who like went for a walk in the middle of winter cause he got in a fight with his mom? I always like the recap episodes where you see more of what went on.
I also cringe every time I see Gary and Amber screaming at each other in front of their baby. I don't think they realize the lasting impact it is going to have on their child. I consider it a form of child abuse.
I agree with the majority of posters... but I have one thing to add...
Is it just me or are all of Gary's shirts TOO SMALL?!?!? Neither FI nor I are small people, so I'm not judging him on being big or anything, but GET A BIGGER SHIRT!!!!
I just watched this weeks episode on DVR an hour ago! I love this show.
I love Maci, she's a good Mom and seems like a nice person.
Amber and Gary both have some growing up to do and they have a lot of issues to solve with each other. I don't agree with the way they are always yelling in front of their baby, she's going to grow up thinking that's normal behavior in a relationship.
Farrah has been a brat before and seems like she is trying more. I feel bad for everything that's happened with her Mom. I wonder who is supporting her though. I don't know how as a single teenage Mom she is able to pay for her apartment, baby pedicures, cell phone...etc.
Tyler is my favorite guy on the whole show...he's such a good guy.
Ok, I just watched the first two episodes.
Can we please discuss the ridiculous fake tan Amber is sporting this season? Good god, I can't focus on anything else!! Her face is ORANGE! She looks like an oompa loompa! It got a little better in the second episode but my god.
And THAT was Farrah's big turnaround? Her mom punched her in the mouth? I'm sorry, but given her behavior last season I'd say she had that coming for a long time. I still think she's a spoiled, insufferable brat. If I had acted that way when I was her age I'd be lucky if all my mom did was punch me in the mouth.
Still love Tyler and Maci!
@lezlers: Farrah is turning around a bit in the most recent episode, she goes into therapy but she still has a way to go because she leaves the baby in the sink and the baby hurts her hand on hot water.
D'oh! Glad to hear she's turning around more in later episodes though, I was very disappointed at what I saw in the first two after reading about her here, as she seemed pretty much the same as last season to me (same funky attitude, at least.)
