I haven’t found a picture with a bustle.  However, all the used ones for sale say that they were bustled, so it is possible.  You might talk with a seamstress about how it might work.

I am looking into this same dress and alterations told me it would bustle up and make like a sweeping pinup into the beginning of the split on the back where the lace and beads travel down the back of the dress. it looks very nice bustled but hard to describe . no pics to show tho  . sorry ! and it would have to different bustles one for the fabric of dress and then one for the sheer overlay . hope that helps.

I have this same dress, and am struggling with the same question!  Maybe what DB calls a Ballroom Bustle, which seems to be a Train Flip rather than a true Ballroom?  I’ve got a fitting for alterations on the May 8th, and will let you know what they recommend if you’re still in need of ideas then.

Post-fitting update!  Here’s the dress with the bustle my local DB alterations department recommended, which is a 5-point overbustle (on each of 2 layers, so really a 10-point bustle in total).  Close-up & full-back views (please ignore the tags & pouch of extra beads):
