Does anyone love their engagement ring?! I DO!!
I see so many people post on here that they have a deep disappointment with their engagement ring and that just makes me sad. Diamond too small. Not plantinum etc are the problems I see the most.
My engagement ring is .81 princess cut center stone, with channel set side stones. It has vintage detailing and is white gold. To me, I am happy with my center stone because FI chose a very high quality diamond and chose a bit smaller size.
Anyone else love their engagement ring as well?
I absolutely LOVE mine!!!!! I have no idea the size, cut, clarity, color, anything, but i don't care! Its perfect!!! And the band that goes with it is so gorgeous too. He did wonderful!
I'm obsessed with mine. I'm at work so I don't have access to a good photo of it right now, but I love it.
It's a three-stone ring with a white gold band. Six small diamonds are set in the band on either side of the center diamonds. My favorite part is the filigree that is etched in the band—my fiance had that custom-done, so my ring is completely one of a kind! The wedding band was custom-made with the e-ring also. :)

I love my ring and the meaning behind it!! It is perfect (for me anyhow).
I love mine! It's absolutely perfect, exactly what I would have wanted but would have never been able to pick out for myself! He did such a good job, and with no help from me. :)
I love my engagement ring as well :) My FI did an amazing job. Even though I basically showed him a few styles that I wanted and then let him pick from there, I never expected to love it as much as I do. We went through a period where I was considering having the center stone reset so that a band will lie flush against it, but I just couldn't do it--I can't imagine changing it in any way (for now anyway! Maybe in a few years, I'll add another diamond or two to the band, but for now it's perfect).
@jaylii9: we're ring twins! My ring is also a princess cut stone with channel set princess cut side stones set in platinum. I don't have any sort of filagree or detailing on it though. Maybe for the band!

I picked mine out, so I guess I have to love it. :) But seriously, it's by no means huge or flashy and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It represents where we were in the moment we got engaged, and I look forward to wearing it throughout our entire marriage.
I LOVE my ring because i picked it out the setting and WE picked out the center stone.
I would like a bigger stone but no stone will ever be big enough
I am absolutely in love with my proposal ring and engagement ring. FH proposed with an eternity band & a loose diamond that has been in his family since the early 1900's. We designed a 1920's Art Deco engagement ring and I couldn't be more in love...

@lilyfaith: I love your outlook on your ring, and I agree! My ring might be different if FI were to purchase 5 years later, but it's it the moment that you pledge to spend the rest of your lives together the really special part?

I love my ring too. As I've said 47,000 times. Its a 1ct cushion cut in plat pave band. I (heart) it hardcore. haha. And here is ANOTHER picture for you all! I really need to take some new ones so I stop posting the same ones over and over :)

I love mine sooo much!! The only direction I ever gave my FI is that I wanted a round stone. Not only did my FI work with the jeweler to create the perfect style for me, but he took 7 small diamonds from a ring that my grandma left me when she passed away (that I never would have actually worn) and used them on the band. So now, not only do I think about him everything I look at my amazing ring, but I also think about her. It's PERFECT!!!
@lilyfaith, That is sweet! I feel the same way. I can't imagine not wearing this ring for the rest of my life.
Corgi, I am trying to make-up for my not posting a pic sin :) This is not a great pic of my ring, but it's the only one I have at work. My ring has diamond detailing on the side which I love and is unique.
FI picked out the ring on his own and I have always loved it. He worked with his family's good friend who is a jeweler so mine is one of a kind.

I absolutely adore my ring! The quality is incredible and it catches the light and sparkles like nothing I've ever seen 
I've had several people ask to see the ring and do a double take on it because it's so lovely! FI did an amazing job and it makes all those months of ring searching totally worth it.
My fiance picked mine out without even dropping a hint that he was ring shopping - and I couldn't have been happier with what he chose. I had never thought much about engagement rings before hand so I didn't have any set expectations - and I was amazed that he seemed so in tune with what I would have chosen had I ever thought about it, if that makes sense =) I'm not 100% positive of how many carats the stone is (is that weird?) but I think its like .8. Its a simple solitaire with a white gold band and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. After being engaged over 16 months I still catch myself gazing at it =)

I really do love my ring. I'm psyched that you posted this! It's beautiful and special and wonderful because my FH picked it out himself and it has so much meaning behind it. I absolutely LOVE it!
I love love love my ring! I did help him pick it out, I showed him 3 that I like and he picked between then so it was still a bit of a surprise for me :). I did have nightmares leading up to getting engaged that he picked this horrible ring but he did good!!

I LOOOOVE MINE TOO!!!! FI did an amazing job! Loved his proposal and the ring-- he knew that I wanted something timeless and I don't think you could get more timeless than this :)

I love my ring, too! It was a custom ring that I picked out...I would've loved anything hubby gave me--but he would've gotten me a diamond and I wanted a sapphire. It's like a combination of traditional and "funky" as my husband likes to call me (not in a smelly way, but in a cool, earthy way).
Me me me! I LOVE mine! I don't know the specs by heart (I have the documentation somewhere at home), but even after 1.5 years of being engaged, I am constantly stealing glances at my ring. 
i absolutely love love LOVE my ring. 10 months post engagement andI still stare at it, MULTIPLE times a day. I think I am in love with it. I think I am obsessed with it. Our bands just arrived the other day...I think I might have an orgasm when I try on MY band with the ring!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA seriously, I really do love my ring soooo much! :)

Lilyfaith- I love your attitude about your ring. I completely agree with you and want to wear my ring for the entirity of our marriage. When I look at my ring it reminds me how much FI and I care about each other and how much care he put into picking it out. In the years to come I know I will look at my ring and remember FI proposing to me at the age of 25 in Las Vegas.
i definitely love, love, LOVE my ring. over a year old and i still catch myself starting at it multiple times a day.

I do!!! It is so perfect and is exactly what I wanted! And FI picked it out all by himself!
Granted, I did send him the occasional email, regarding some preferences and my cousin helped him a bit on finding the diamond I wanted for a good price. But he picked out the lose diamond himself and told them how to have it set!

we JUST got our engagement photos back and finally got some profressional photos of the ring!! this one is my favorite:
I love my rings!! They're delicate and shiny and practical for day to day life. We chose them together with DH having the final say; but had he been alone, he would have picked the same ones I pointed out to him.
Great post! Sometimes we get too caught up in the material and lose focus of what really matters.
I Looove mine! My wonderful sister helped him shop. Smart guy for asking her to help!
