I bet you can do it!

My hands are too small for even kid guitars and I never even thought of ukulele!

Wow…I might give it a try if I can find a good one for a good price =)

I don’t play the ukulele, but I do play various other instruments.  You can learn to play any instrument if you are willing to invest the time.  If you’ve never played an instrument before it will take a little longer to learn, but you can do it.  Since it’s your first instrument I would highly suggest getting some lessons.  Even if you only go for a month of two the lessons will help to teach you the basics but also push you to stick with it.

If you can’t find any lessons near you, there are plenty of great teachers that offer lessons on skype!

@jessierhysy:  I was a music major in college and played the bassoon in the orchestra.  I also played steel drums throughout college.  I’m decent at piano since it was a requirement for music majors.  I’m not really much a musician anymore, but I have a bad habit of collecting instruments! We have a room dedicated to them! I have my bassoon, piano, steel drums, drum set, congas, guitar and most recent instrument is a banjo!  I’m really enjoying the banjo and have been taking lessons via skype.

I’ve just started learning! I’ve played instruments before but no strings so this is a fun and challenging hobby for me! I think it’s pretty easy to find tutorials online to get started!
