I do : ( I was looking at a photographer I could afford that would also take pretty pictures, and I found that in him. The thing is, I keep looking at more expensive photographers and the AMAZING pictures they take and I want to cry! I almost want to ‘ditch’ mine and book a different one. But my pocket thinks its too much to spend, and I already put a deposit down, so there it is… Anyone else? Any words of encouragement? 🙂

That is the best advice I can give you and it’s something I tell myself every time I think about looking at other wedding dresses. 😉
You made the best choice for you based on your style and your budget. Embrace it!! I am sure you will have beautiful photos.
Does your photog have a blog or post any kind of updates? I make a point of looking at their updates and their facebook page to remind myself that while they weren’t my dream photographers (my eyes are bigger than my budget 😉 ) they do take wonderful photos. Looking at their updates makes me excited for the kind of photos that they will take at our wedding. 🙂

You are so right!! I went to his facebook page and he has it updated with weddings and engagement shoots he has done recently and fell in love again! Thanks!!

Yep, me! We found one we could afford since our budget is miniscule, but stylistically I’m really concerned. They have several photographers on staff and you don’t know who you’re going to get until the week before. (I know, I know…not the best situation, but it was either this or someone off of Craigslist which I did not have good luck with.)
I told them I was looking for more a photojournalistic style and very minimal posed shots. Well, we had our engagement session and it was all posed. While we got some very nice shots, most are kind of awkwardly posed and looking at all the amazing photography on here and on blogs just makes me really sad. I’m so scared that I’m going to hate the majority of our wedding photos.
So, I feel you. But it sounds like you found someone who is stylistically compatible with you, so I’m sure you will love your photos!

I regretted my choice a little, but I wonder if it was because I was not specific enough about the kind of photos that I wanted for my wedding day. Needless to say I want to get fun photos with my husband for an anniversary and I think I am going to go with the other photographer that I wish I had for my wedding day.

I agree with Tina – Stop looking.
For us, we were torn between two photogs and the one we went with is awesome. The other option has since fallen off the face of the earth, so I’m super glad we didn’t go with her.
Also…your happiness and love will shine through any camera – even if it’s a disposable one operated by a 5 year old. It will be fabulous because it will be YOUR wedding!
