I do too! One of them anyway, the older one doesn’t like the big jumps anymore. But my youngest will sleep with me, and INSISTS on going under the covers, even in Summer!! She will walk up the bed and stand next to my shoulder and look at the covers, so I can lift them for her, if I don’t lift the covers she will headbutt my shoulder until I do! This is her, Lady 🙂

Molly the 86 lb golden retriever sleeps with us in our king sized bed, until she gets warm and she goes to the tile floor inthe ensuite.  When she’s in bed she usually has to be 100% against me and in the most awkward position.  If i’mnot in bed before her (most nights) I’m screwed when it comes to real estate and covers!  I know people don’t think they belongin bed with you, and as annoying as it sometimes can be (read most nights), I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Our dogs sleep on the floor of our bedroom. While they were younger, they slept in their crates at night. They’re 70 lbs and 45 lbs and we have a queen bed (and FI is 6’5″ and I’m 5’9″). THERE IS NO ROOM AT THE INN. I made him promise when we got our first dog that just because it was 8 pounds now, that did not mean it could sleep with us. He is now happy that he made that promise.

However when we go home to visit my Mom, her dog (20 lbs) sleeps with me and I have no problems with that 🙂

I think it only makes sense that we all sleep together. They’re pack animals and we’re a pack.

We’re getting a king size bed shortly. Even though they’re small those lil’ bastards sure know how to take up a lot of precious space.

Nope, but the cat sleeps snuggled up against me every night. The lab is too big to get on the bed.

My Maltese finds his way to my bed EVERY frickin night I always wake up to him snuggled up against me. He’s spoiled rotten though and thinks he’s human. I adore him to pieces, my Bentley (I am entirely too obsessed with taking pictures of him)

We used to let our lab sleep with us, but she sheds a lot and it was kind of grossing us out. We do let her take naps with us though. She HAS to be touching you while she is sleeping. Her favorite is to lay behind your legs. Oh, and she’s also taken a huge liking to my pregnancy pillow and tries to steal it from me, as you can see in the picture above!

You mean people don’t sleep with dogs and cats on their bed? Haha. Every night mine are with me. My cat always gets prime position by my pillow though. Not sure how my SO will go when my cat and I move in, but I’m sure we will work something out haha.

We don’t have our dog on the bed as a rule, she sleeps in the laundry and quite often puts herself to bed.

There are exceptions, though. We let her on the bed if we’re napping, and I have her in bed with me if FI is working late. When he was in hospital for a month, she slept on the bed EVERY night he was gone, and when he came home, she had no problems going back to her normal bed.

@RubyStar:  I would love to get a Ruby one one day! Do you have any pictures? Our older is a Blenheim 🙂
