I am thinkin about getting one but I want to make sure that it will be ok to surf on here and to post pics etc. I really only surf the ring board so I wanted to ask the ring board frequent posters what you think about your iPad?
I use my kindle fire... Which is sort of like an ipad. I haven't uploaded any original pictures from it. I just go to my uploaded images and choose from there. As far as posting its relatively easy
I do!!! ALL THE TIME! LOL I just got my ipad yesterday (got one for me and the FI). I use it for wedding planning/life planning to keep track of my college course work. Its amazing. ;)
The autocorrect is INSANELY bad. Like, I might type "Emeralds are beautiful" and it will spit out "James monkey cousin" or "Emersiclitis." I love it for when I travel so I can read the boards and catch up on my news but the autocorrect is so bad that it literally makes it impossible to respond to posts. It's just unfortunate because the keyboard is large enough to make typing a dream but it just simply doesn't understand English.
Point is - I love it, don't regret the purchase, great for reading on the go, not so great for writing anything.

Ok so can someone tell me how to upload pictures?! I only ever use my iPad or iPhone and I've pretty much given up on posting pictures.
@GelaMac: haven't read the responses yet, but I use my ipad. I cannot upload pictures nor can I reply to more that one person at a time. When I do the second reply, it stops letting me type.
@BlondeMissMolly: ditto. I can get to the upload screen, but it won't let me select any pictures!

Auto correct on iPhone and iPads for wedding be is so crazy... like the correction is absolutely nothing like what you typed.. be prepared for that.
What reallllyy needs to be done is weddingbee needs an APP!!! Come on weddingbee!!
@BlondeMissMolly: for the ipad, click the green tree picture in the toolbar. then a new tab will open up and it'll prompt you to uplad a picture.
@claireos: Agreed but it's on my iphone too. The auto correct isn't like that on ANYTHING on either device, except on the bee, and it is SO frustrating!!! I don't get it.
I browse on my iphone sometimes, but it's a pain in the butt. It's constantly changing words on me, takes forever to post because I have to go back and fix the autocorrect. I know a few others have the same problem.
Ditto what anotherbee said. You can't post pictures, it will stop typing by itself and the autocorrect is the absolute worst in all of apple history.
I reallly want to be able to upload pics...any help with that?

It's fine for reading and posting, but I can't upload photos unless they're in my previously uploaded photos
All the time. I rarely use my laptop. It works good, but lots of autocorrect fails. You can turn that off though.
@GelaMac: You can! When you tap "upload photos" you get the option to pick from your ipad photo album or take a picture. I've been doing it on my iPhone/iPad for a few weeks now.

@anotherbee: What iOS do you have? I have all the same functionality on my iPhone/iPad as I do with laptop. Pics, @replies, etc. I update my iOS whenever there is a new one available so I have 6.0.2 on my phone and whatever the most recent iPad one is too.
@claireos: i agree! And its only on this site for some reason!!!! I turned off my autocorrect and now its all good (just have to proof read!!!). whenever i post, im on my ipad.
I can upload pics as well on my ipad. Must be the newest ios.
pretty sure uploading pictures etc. works with the Surface, because it is more like an actual computer, running Windows 8, less like a phone. Only looks very similar on the outside.
You can turn autocorrect OFF! Thats what I do. On my phone and my ipad because it is such a bother.
Oh and I can upload photos as well. Hmmm.
I've uploaded with my iPhone before. But I use the photobucket app and then copy paste the code.
@Pinkmoon: hmm., i dunno. got it for christmas last year, but I think I recently updated the iOS...
@GelaMac: I do surf with my ipad but I find it kind of annoying to post something especially if it is long because you use the touch screen keypad. Also you have to make sure to turn off the autocorrect or it will drive you bonkers when it "guesses" the words you are trying to type and you end up writing a post that looks like it is in another language!!!

Good to know! I use an ipad and never could upload photos. They must have fixed that. The autocorrect is horrid though, it takes me so much time to post because it changes about every other word to something weird.
