I love their lip gloss! The eye shadow was ok.. didn't stay on very well. The face makeup I tried sucked, but it was super cheap so I guess I should've expected that!
I've used them before, I think it's good to maybe try out some colors, but their makeup (specific eye shadow) doesn't last very long. I do like their brushes though, I just ordered a few replacements a few days ago. I use the foundation brush and eyeliner brush every day!
They're running a promotion right now that you get a free palette with every purchase.. Seems pretty cool, I'll let you know what it's like when it gets here!
no catch..they used to sell it in superstore (a supermarket) here in Canada.
I've tried out some of their stuff. I like the Shine Eraser sheets; from what I've read they're nothing like C&C, but they work well enough for me. I bought an eyelash curler before they changed the model and it's fabulous. Alas, the price does mean poor quality, and from what I've read it's been declining. :(
If you're looking for inexpensive yet awesome brushes, Eco Tools is unbelievable! The brushes are sooooo soft and durable.
I wasn't impressed with any of their makeup but that's what you get for those price points.
I use Eco Tools brushes too, best so far without buying MAC brushes (which I also love!)
I used their makeup once...it was fine. But I bought a brush set (which I was really excited about) and I was totally disappointed. ALL but one of the brushes fell apart (literally FELL APART) within 2 months.
Not a good buy.
I liked their brushes ok (individual ones are the ones I've used) and their makeup is good for experimenting with new colors or styles. For example, if I find an eyeshadow shade I like from elf, I go find it at Ulta in the nicer stuff.
I also think it would be good for like, stocking bridesmaid clutches/totes, for example. A lip gloss, an eyeshadow and some mascara for touchups, all for a low low price--you can't beat that! :)
Your post is now in the beauty forum.
I haven't used ELF makeup myself but I am glad to learn of a good makeup deal!

I really like their lip gloss.
I've never tried their products but know they're very popular because of the good price point.. As an artist myself I'm especially cautious of such inexpensive products, and would never dream of using it on any of my clients, bridal or not. Based on the reviews I've read and things I've heard, with this company it's really a case of you get what you pay for. And this is not to say that all inexpensive products are bad, because you can find some great stuff at your local drugstore sometimes that pro artists use in runways & etc..
i've only purchased one e.l.f. item, which was a lip gloss set with different ice cream/soda shop flavors, which was fun and served its purpose =) if it works for you, why not? almost anything is $1!!
They are great for lip gloss! Their bronzer is ok, kinda messy and a little bit glittery.
I love their cheap eye shadows, liners and extra applicator packs.

Hey hive! Just wondering if anyone uses elf makeup? www.eyeslipsface.com
I've used a few of their items and found them to be pretty decent for the price. What do you think?
