@RhodeIslandQuahog:  I wished I did not spend soo much $ on my veil, mine is fingertip but I am short 5’1 so It looks much longer. does it match your dress? if so, wear it 🙂

Mine is 32,” so a little on the long side but still short compared to others! Do you still want a picture of it?

I agree that long veils are beautiful but not my style. For me, too much glitz ends up losing the bridal feeling.

I wore a 20 inch veil, and I loved it! Everyone told me to get a longer one, but it was not my style at all.

I think shoulder-length is very retro and fun!  Etsy seller TiffaniSaxtonDesigns has a few, like this:

@RhodeIslandQuahog:  I am going to pick up my veil on Wednesday, I will try it on with my dress soon and send you a picture, if you send me a message to remind me. 🙂

I’m an American marrying a Brit, so we’re having two weddings for both our families. I have two dresses, two veils- and neither one of my veils is long. I just don’t like them or see the point. There’s too much gorgeous detail on the back of my dress to cover it up!

My UK one is shoulder length and my US one is a long birdcage veil. I think they’re very cheery and happy, rather than long, traditional veils.

I have every intention of wearing the smallest veil I can find. I personally do not like birdcage and I am having my dress made and I have decided to have her make my veil given the fact that my dress is blush pink.
