first, sorry for posting so many dumb topics about my ring. I’m getting myself all worked up. One second I’m so excited and the next I’m bummed, thinking we will have to look for a new center diamond.
So anyways, long story but my ring is in a different state and SO and I will see it for the first time in a week. It’s in florida with my mother and she sent us some photos of it outside today. (this is on her hand and I blurred out her ring)
maybe since this is a ring topic and obviously we like diamonds, users here would notice more than every day people. Does it automatically stand out as really warm colored to you? I’m very worried about the color. I would definitely consider dropping carat size for a better color. Do you think I could move from 1.5 to 1.3 and 2 color shades up? Or is that much more expensive?
Its such a beautiful stone though! I kind of like its fuzzy warmth.

diamond specs are hard to judge by photos. Wait til you get it, and then decide if it is!
FWIW, i think its pretty, and color is the least important to me. I’d rock it!

Obviously my decision will be made when I see it in person, but these photos are just so confusing! In this photo, the diamond color really stands up against my moms D color! It looks white and shiny

@cls9q: I mean, it does look slightly warm on my screen. But I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all. It looks like a gorgeous stone to me. I personally wouldn’t drop carat weight just to get a whiter stone.

@cls9q: I think it looks lovely! I don’t immediately notice any color in it.
My stone is a J color, and nobody has ever said anything about it looking yellow.

it looks warm to me
ETA – if you hadn’t asked me if i had “noticed” anything though i wouldn’t have noticed

im okay with it looking warm, but I don’t want it to look yellow. Or anyone to ever look at it and think it looks dull or idk. Does that make sense?

I think it looks a LITTLE bit warm but not anywhere close to yellow. I think it’s gorgeous.

@cls9q: What stands out is that it’s b-b-b-blinging!!! Lol, I think it’s a beautiful ring and I can’t tell if it’s ‘yellow’ at first glance. It actually looks pretty white to me, but you’ll have to judge it in person!

@cls9q: You’re going to love it! Can’t wait to see it on your finger!

@cls9q: Before I even scrolled down to read your text I thought it looked a little yellow, but it might be a weird photo. And some people are more color-sensitive than others.

I think it looks a *little* warm but I don’t think it looks yellow. I personally think it’s very pretty!

My first thought was that it looks really clear & sparkly! I think as long as the side stones and center match color is not a problem

I think it’s gorgeous! My diamond is an f and I actually kinda want a warmer stone they seem to flash more colors IMO

RING TWINS! I obviously, LOVE your ring. It’s just like mine! It’s beautiful. I don’t see warmth at all, but I can’t really tell from pictures. What does your mom say about it? Can she take a video of it?
ETA: I just saw your other post that you said this is an H color. Mine is a G. I don’t think you will see any warmth. I don’t really see any in mine. It’s more noticeable if I lookat it from the side, instead of from the top .. and who really looks at the ring like that? It’s also more noticeable on cloudy days, from the side again though. From the top, it looks perfectly white to me. I wouldn’t give up a bit of carat size to go whiter. I’m sure you’ll be pleased once it’s on your finger.
