the colors started off just red and black. then we added some white to brighten everything up a bit. then...when i found my gown, it only comes in ivory in the states and i'd planned on it being white but i had to have it no matter the color!
so i began thinking that all the white and black might not look right with me wearing ivory and black accessories, so i'm wanting to add in ivory to help match things...
i've also reduced red to just an accent color, the "popping" color but now am thinking theres too many colors going on?
my fiance is going to kill me if i don't set things in stone soon because i've already had to change the colors on decor orders acouple times and even i am upset and fed up with my own confusion. for photos sake; with my dress being ivory with black accessories, i'm having diffculty with whether to order all our accessories(flower basket, guest book, etc) in b&w damask(as planned before) or b&I damask...
we're having black chair covers(that won't change) the linens are white(that can't change) & sashes i'm still not sure whether to do white or ivory(as of now, white had been ordered but of course can still be changed). the centerpieces are branches that i'm spray painting red. the table squares over the white linen are either going to be black and white damask or black and ivory damask...=?
i can't decide! the sashes will depend on whether the damask table squares are black & ivory or black & white. we're also having votives and not sure whether to do white or black candles around the centerpiece yet, that also depend on table square colors.
the favor boxes are black with a red feather. black napkins, black plates...
if anyone has an opinion, i would LOVE to hear it. i need help and i can't talk to my fiance about this because he's so sick of hearing it from me=/
i don't have the table squares to set up the table in person and see if the black and ivory damask would look right on top of white linen with red centerpiece, which is the problem...
does anyone have any photos of anything resembling this color scheme????
