Definitely. Like I said in a thread similar to this one a while back, I had to tell him or he would have thought I had an Internet boyfriend due to all the time I spend on here. ;)
I don't let him read my posts, though! He doesn't even know my username; I like the fact that this is my place to spout off and get advice. ;)
Yup he knows!!! I even gave a gal who's FI recently lost his job my FI's email address to try and set him up with a job. When I told FI to watch out for his resume, he's like who's he? And I said oh it's a girl from WB's FI! And he was like oh okay. I thought he would have said something like "why are you giving ppl my email who you don't even know?" but no, because he knows I meet ppl online all the time lol!!! Meetup, WB meetups, etc. I love it!
DH knows and sometimes weighs in if he hears me chuckle or make a face that obviously is a sign I'm reading something crazy LOL.
He definitely knows! He has no interest in reading though. When crazy things are going on or when I read a really silly post/story I tell him about it and he thinks those things are funny but I doubt he'd even think about coming on just to read. I'm pretty sure he thinks that it's all weddings and drama so he truly doesn't care.
DH knows. My laptop broke earlier last week and he went out the next day and ordered me a new one because "you will go crazy without having access to the WB". Ha!
To be fair, I handled the lack of internet fine. I just read A LOT!
Yeah my hubby knows. When something doesn't get done he always jokes 'Been on WB again'
I'm nowhere close to being engaged and the BF totally knows I'm an active Bee member. Lol I even have to get him to change my passwords during exam time so I don't get distracted. I was very embarassed when he first found out though, actually I'm a little ashamed how I reacted cause it ended up in a small crying burst.
But everythings okay now & I always share funny, interesting posts with him.
The hubby does, I've been on here WAY too much this weekend because of all that's going on, so it would be quite hard to hide it. ;)
FI knows. :) Especially when I start a sentence with "Today, on Weddingbee...." lol.
Sigh. Embarrassingly enough, yes he does. He noticed my time spent on the internet had drastically increased after we got engaged & jokingly asked if I had an "internet boyfriend "- I had to fess up :)
my husband thinks im insane....he HATES when I talk about TTC on here because I always come back to him all excited and beg him if we can start TTC earlier (we plan to in jan). And he's like "What have those Bees been telling you? That website has taken over you!"
But he likes hearing all the funny stories I find on here sometimes
I use weddingbee at work so that FI won't find out. He found the site on his own once and made horrible fun of it. I played it off like I didn't know what he was talking about when I was secretly freaking out because I know I'm on it!
When I use it at home I make sure he is not there. It is my secret addiction!
He knows I'm a religious blog reader but I'm not sure if he knows how much I stalk the boards!
He knows I am on "a wedding site" but I didnt tell him which one. But I come home all the time with questions answered for things I couldnt figure out and he knows it came from "that wedding site" =)
@chellology: YEPP! Haha..it's like "Lemmie guess, Did you hear that from that wedding site you're always on?" and im like...YES I DID!
FI most definitely knows. He asks me about it a lot and I'll show him super funny threads sometimes.
He knows i'm totally addicted and even asks me about how the site works and encourages me to (when the time comes) become a bee. But as far as he knows I only read the blog, he doesn't know I post.
Nope! Before he proposed I would scroll down so the bride at the top and the site name didn't show. I felt so guilty! LOL Now, he knows I am going to be obsessed with wedding planning so I don't think he will care.
The FH knows... And he thinks it is adorable. Whenever I'm ignoring him a little too long while on my computer he sighs "are you on wedding bee again?" and then asks what I'm reading about and what I'm posting. It's cute that he wants to be involved like this!
My FI knows and sometimes will laugh and ask "is that something you read on weddingbee??" He teases me about my obsession. I've never really participated on a forum before, so it's nice that this site has SOO many sections to discuss different things. He participates in med school and homebrewing forums and has for years, so he's no stranger to discussions that can happen.
He's so not the "i wonder what she's posting about" type (unless he sees me feverishly typing on the couch, he'll ask "what are you asking weddingbee?"), so I highly doubt he'd ever sneak on to see my posts. I really hope he doesn't....I don't care to share some of my FMIL rants *sheepish grin*

Does your SO/husband/partner/FI know about your addiction?!
While my husband and I were engaged, I didn't tell him about weddingbee. I like the confidentiality, and I posted posts about my dress :) he had noooo idea, until closer to the wedding, when someone we knew was able to figure out who I was by stalking my profile here (looong story), and she told him.
ANYWAY
now that we're married and expecting, he definitely knows, and sometimes reads my posts :) he totally doesn't care and secretly I think he thinks it's cute lol
