I think it depends on what you want.  But, I’ve heard of many women (myself included) who put their engagment ring on their right hand and during the ceremony he puts on the wedding band.  Then, at some point during the day (or however you want to wear your rings) you change your engagement ring over to your left hand.  I know some women like to keep the e-ring on the right hand, so it’s all about how you want to do it.

I am having a short saying for the engagment ring, for him to put back on me.  Something to the effect of this is the ring that made the promise that will be fulfilled today… then we do the ring vows.  I thought it was such a cute idea!

I was going to wear my e-ring on my left and have him put on my band then just switch them around at some point. BUT Jeska June, I LOVE your idea! It’s so cute and now I am going to definitely do that! Thanks! 🙂

If you’re going to have your rings saudered together you may want to do that before the ceremony.  Then he can but the whole chi-bang on at once.
