(Closed) Does it matter if lace doesn't match?

If your dress is lace all over, I would maybe skip the lace belt anyway. But if your gown has lace edging or trim, you should be abke to roughly match the lace – most chantilly lace I have seen looks very similar. Same with corded lace, or alencon(?), if you stick to one lace “type” you should be ok. I think it could look a bit off if you have vastly different types of lace.

I agree, the lace belt is probably too much, but the lace on the veil is no big deal
