I think they both look GREAT on you, but I like your dress a lot better than the first one. If you like the mermaid shape and want to get that with your dress, you could do a simple alteration of the skirt by your knees and wear a mermaid slip to puff it out more!

That was my runner up dress!!!! LOVE the casa 1995 =D You look great in it!

But like I told you before – mermaids make it hard to dance!! Which is why I went with the casa 1827 (fit n flare version, very similar to 1995)

Your dress is way more flattering. Comparing the mermaid to the dress you have, I’d have to say if I were answering honestly that that particular mermaid dress adds about 15 lbs. The one you chose looks lovely on you!
