So I booked an appt with a florist. I told my mom about it and said I like soft pinks (wedding colours peach, baby blue and dark grey) and she said that isn’t part of your wedding colours.. Does it really matter bees? Would it look weird? I can see if I said red but soft pinks would go nicely with my colours.
Did you use colours in your bouquet that weren’t part of your wedding colours?

They don’t have to be exactly the same colors, as long as they’re in the same theme. If you are doing a soft pink bouquet with a peach and grey wedding, it should be fine. I wouldn’t do a pastel pink bouquet with a hot pink and turquoise wedding however, since that is bold and the bouquet is soft and muted.
That said, I didn’t use anything that wasn’t in my wedding colors. I did varying shades of my wedding colors along with a neutral ivory/white.

No, it just depends on the look that you’re going for. If your style is fairly modern, bold, and graphic, then I do think having your bouquet be a pop of just one color looks cool. But if the overall look is soft and romantic or vintage or something, then I think throwing in other soft colors looks super pretty.

They by NO means have to match your wedding colors. Keepting the same general theme is a good idea….Maybe one of the same color throughout the wedding. Having a variety of colors adds interest.
