I’m having some color issues. Wedding colors are navy, slate blue, wisteria (grey scale purple) and grey. Groomsmen is wearing grey, groom is wearing blue. Is it ok if my dad wears brown? My original thought was that he should match my mom since they are both walking me down and he isn’t up front at the altar. But now I am having second thoughts. My mom’s dress is a stone greyish green color.

It really doesn’t matter either way. Our dads wore the same tux as Darling Husband and all of the guys but I’ve seen it done differently before and it still looks nice.

Hard to answer without seeing the color of your Mom’s dress. If he is going to buy a new suit ,I think a different shade of grey or charcoal would look better in the pictures.
If he has a brown suit he wants to wear, it will also be fine.

I don’t think it matters. We let our Dad’s pick out any suit they wanted.

@julies1949: Yeah. The color is very unique. I’ve tried to find it on the dress company’s website but it is not accurate.

I don’t think it matters, I basically told my dad he can wear whatever he wants… The groomsmen will be in grey suits… But if he just wants to wear dockers and a blue blazer that’s fine too (the bridesmaids will be in blue). He’s not going to be standing up there with us, and in pictures I think it will be nice if he doesn’t match the groom… you know?
