Does my real dress look too short-waisted?

whitemochi622:  I think it looks just fine! It is a gorgeous dress and you look great in it. The angle in the second picture is so different I think it is throwing you off a bit.

whitemochi622:  I think it looks great! I have a short torso also and its something I always worry about. I think the dress really flatters your figure

whitemochi622:  GORGEOUS dress!! But I almost don’t think you need that belt. It has lots of sparkle without it and my eye is drawn right to it.

I think it’s the angle and (correct me if I’m wrong here) the different belt, as well as belt placement. i think it looks like in the pic with the sample the belt is placed lower, near the start of the curve into your waist whereas in te second pic the belt is placed higher, right in the curve. That fraction of an inch in placement combined with the different angle is all that’s making you fret.

have you tried it with a slightly thinner belt/sash? I feel like it’s a bit too wide.

Yeah, lose the belt and it will automatically give you a longer visual line?

I would wear a sash or belt, but i would probably stick with one about an inch-1.5 inches wide. I feel like such a wide one makes your torso look shorter than it is.

But you still look fantastic!!!

It looks like your real dress is looser in your thigh area. In the sample, it’s clipped nice and tight! Can you have your dress taken in a bit more?
