I’m planning on wearing a veil secured with a comb at the top of my head for my ceremony and photos. I’m changing into my lucky red dress for the reception and want to remove my veil to wear a glam headpiece.
Will removing the veil ruin my hairstyle? Does the comb pull hair out of place with it? If it does, how do you fix it on the fly?
I’ve attached a photo of a similar veil and hairstyle to what I’m planning. The veil will be placed a bit higher up on my head.

@nocleverbeepun: Mine was fine. I just made sure that I was sitting so my moh could lift it straight up.

To be honest, it did mess up my hair a bit. But I wore my hair down, and my veil had to be redone about 8 times over the course of the day because it kept slipping out (waves fist at hairstylist…she didn’t secure it well the first time)
I think make sure you have a tiny comb with you to smooth out your hair on the fly.

I had a VERY long and heavy veil and it did not both my hair at all. I took it out (once) and replaced it with a fascinator for the reception and it looked great. I think if you secure the veil properly the first time around without having it pull or come out you should be fine.

I also removed my veil for my reception and I didn’t have any problems with it messing up my hair (I had a half up-do).

If your hairstylist has any idea what he/she is doing and knows that you ahvea veil going in and coming out, then, not, it won’t ruin your hair.
