We got one in November and it’s worked very well for dog messes.  Our dog is house trained, but she still has the occasional stomach bug.  She naturally picks the carpeted area on the main floor of our house to make her mess, instead of the hardwood or tile that’s 2 steps away.  Sigh…

Anyway, I like the SpotBot because you just place it on top of the stain, turn it on, and let it do its thing.  I think it does a better job of cleaning deep/nasty messes than our upright Bissell cleaner (however, our upright cleaner is very old so it may not work as well anymore).  The big downside for me is that the SpotBot is rather loud when it’s in use.  I also don’t like that the cleaning solution for the SpotBot is different from the regular Bissell cleaner, so I can’t use the same cleaning solution in both devices.  A little annoying, but not a dealbreaker for me.
