Bees! It is just 3 weeks until my wedding now, and I can not make up my mind! I feel like the petticoat gives me dress a completely different feel. Please let me hear your thoughts! They are desperately needed 🙂
Here it is without the petticoat:
What do we think, bees?

I like it better without. It looks a little odd with, IMO.

Hmmm, I’m not sure if its the lighting difference between the two photos but I like it without right now, but the first photo is much brighter and clear.

with. I think you can’t tell that it’s mermaid without out. So if you’re really trying show off that it’s a mermaid I’d wear it

I would go without…the petticoat does define the shape, but it looks a little stiff.

Thank you girls so much! I think I am leaning towards wearing it without, because you’re right… it does look a little odd with the petticoat! I couldn’t quite put my finger on it before, but “stiff” might be the perfect word!

i would try it with in between. I think it will not hold its shape well without the petticoat at all to be honest.

Also, are you wearing shoes in both pictures? The dress seems to be laying on the floor more that it should be, which may alter the shape. Again, I would try to find a crinoline with less poof. What style is the dress?

@LovelyLaura: It is actually a trumpet! And yes, I am wearing shoes in both photos. I am so clueless about these things…it’s pitiful!

I really like it with a crinoline!

I actually prefer it without, which surprises me because usually i’m always for crinoline! 😀
BTW, I can hardly believe that even your wedding is coming up so soon! Time is really going by so fast!

@LovelyLaura: +1 it needs a petti coat but a smaller one this one isn’t the right shape

@cms1120: With, because I think it’ll move better.

I agree with the other PP stating with a petticoat but you need a smaller one with a different shape.
