Does the gap look okay?

lucky-love:  You look so beautiful! I am so jealous of your figure.

I’m not crazy about the gap. I think it makes the dress look unfinished. Other than that, it is really beautiful!

Is the gap the width of the corset back? ( sorry I did not even try on any corset back dresses so I don’t know the terminology) I think it looks fine. Personally I would prefer the modesty panel to go all the way up, but that is just my opinion.

Actually, the thing that stood out the most to me in both pictures was that the ‘belt’ embellishment does not appear to be even – in the top picture it looks to be slanting upward from left to right, in the bottom picture the left side is higher than the right. Is that part supposed to be asymmetrical?

I think it looks like it needs a panel inserted under the lacing so that you can’t see your skin though it. Otherwise I think it’s a beautiful gown and you looking gorgeous in it! 🙂

It is beautiful and fits you to a T but it does seem like the modesty panel is too small.  It should cover behind all the laces.

The gap makes the dress look like it doesn’t fit your properly. I agree you should have them put the back panel all the way up so it matches the height of the laces.

is the back done? I’m confused. If it’s done I would definitely make them go all way up!

I think the gap itself may also be too wide. Even with the full modesty panel, the dress  may need to be let out a bit.

I definitely agree with your plan to have the modesty panel go all the way to the top of the lacing. The back of the dress currenty looks unfinished in the photo. By the way, you look beautiful in your dress!

I would add a panel in the back. I agree with what the previous posters have said about it looking unfinished

I agree–make the panel go all the way up. The gap makes it look like the dress is too small–even though it fits you perfectly!

It’s not just the gap, it looks like the fabric is pulling along the sides rather than lying straight. That’s also why I think the seams may have to be let out.

The panel should go all the way up. It looks unfinished halfway. You look great though !
