Ours won’t “match” but they’ll “go”.
I think they just need to compliment each other.
Ours will, but they don’t have to be the same color.
Unless the men are wearing black ties to go with their tuxedo, I think it’s nice for the men’s ties to pick up on at least one of the wedding colors.
My favorite look is a striped or paisley tie with more than one of the colors. Solid color ties the same color as the BM dresses just looks too “prom” to me.
No! It’s your wedding! Do what you want 🙂
I think it’s better if they match either the BMs’ dresses, or their suits (e.g. black tuxes with black ties). Once I was in a pink BM dress and the guys wore pink bowties and they looked great. That said, it’s your wedding and if you’ve got good reasons to do it different, then do it.
No, ours aren’t. It’s too prom-y for my taste when it matches. I also was not a fan of navy vests/ties with black tuxes.
Ours are, but the BMs dresses are black so that’s not really saying much 😛
no, ours didn’t. i think in some cases it can look nice, but for the most part, it’s a little too matchy-matchy/prom-y for me.
Bridesmaids will wear purple gowns with red, purple, and ivory flowers wrapped in green. Groomspeople (yes people one is a woman) Will be in black with green vests/ties (woman gets a tie fiance demanded it) their boutineirs will be red rose with a sprig of purple and ivory flowers wrapped in green. No matchy matchy here 😀
IMO nope. My bridesmaids will be in black dresses and the groomsmen will have red ties. The ushers will actually be matching the BM’s in black ties lol
Ours did not. I think that as long as the colors compliment each other, even if they are different, your whole wedding party’s ensemble will still look beautiful.
