Hey ladies! Just looking for some advice on a wedding band I looked at today.
As you can see, I have a round solitaire. I’ve been looking at mostly simple diamond bands, but I’ve been torn between ones that are straight across (which leaves a very small gap) and ones that are slightly bent (which sit flush with the e-ring). I’m not crazy about any so far, and took a look at this one just as a curveball. I think I like it! I’d love opinions, though. I know it’s a little out of the ordinary, and maybe not what most people would pick first to go with a solitaire. Please be honest! I can take it! Just curious.

Like many bees, I like the mismatched bands! If I had a solitaire I would probably choose a blingy band as well. I really like this band with your ring. It is definitely unique, which I love!

I think it looks fine. I like unusual bands with solitaires.

It looks great! Plain solitaires gives you more freedom on choosing any kind of wedding band so go for it!

I think it looks really pretty, but it kind of takes away from your e-ring? That’s just imho:)

Thanks, everyone, for the responses so far 🙂
@little_d: That seems to be the main downside I’m hearing from people I’ve shown it to – FI and my mom both think it looks “off” with the e-ring. Hmmmm.

I love it, I think it’s gorgeous! :]

Both rings are beautiful, and if you love the combo then go for it – but personally I feel like they take away from one another together. Your e-ring is so simple and classically beautiful, and the band is more vintage-wow. And if you don’t love them together, I say keep looking! You can always come back to it if you can’t get it out of your mind!

This is all great advice! 🙂
For those that aren’t crazy about the combo – what would you suggest instead? A straight band or a slightly curved band? Or something else?

I think it looks beautiful (:

So beautiful!!!!! And I love how unique it is…never seen a band like it. It’s wide enough to wear alone as well. Great choice!

@Becs: I’m all for mixmatched, but I think if the band had a bit of yellow gold to it…maybe? Just an opinion

I really like it. I always think solitaire’s look nicer with wedding bands that are a bit ‘different’.

The band itself is gorgeous and different! One bee described mismatched sets as having character so i love it 🙂

I think its a gorgeous combination! If you’re a bee that doesnt really like thick sort of sets, then why not look at a thin vine wedding ring? But if it was my set, I’d totally get this wedding ring.
