@jbbs1222:  I really like it, it’s got an airy lightness to it that really appeals to me.

You look like an angel. I’m so serious, that dress was MADE for you.

    You should add a poll!

I think you should keep looking and see if you find something in a different style that you like just as much. I love the tulle BTW. Loooooooooooove it!

I love the top, but how it poofs out around the hips makes you look wider than you probably are.

@jbbs1222:  I think its beautiful but at the end of the day do you feel like a bride?? And do you feel beautiful and all the things you want to feel on your big day?

@jbbs1222:  I was so busy gawking at you in that dress that I forgot to address your family’s comments:

Do not go get an empire waist dress for the purpose of “covering your tummy.” Your stomach is not even visible, and I had to squint to even see what they *might* be talking about.

YOU love this dress, and it looks perfect on you. Listen to your heart on this one, not what your family feels is most ‘appropriate’ or ‘flattering.’

@jbbs1222:  it’s pretty but tbh, i think there’s too much tulle for most brides.

i would really like to see you in other dresses to see which one suits you best.  i believe that there is something that will be more flattering but just as pretty.

@ajillity81:  +1. I also don’t like the look of the tulle. I think that’s the most unflattering part about it.

I think it’s a pretty dress but your body would look better in something else. Maybe not empire, but A-lines work wonders, too, and will give you a fuller skirt than empire.

What about an A-line with tulle skirt?

Do you have pictures of yourself in a different silhouette so we can compare?

@jbbs1222:  Then I think you should go with it, seriously. I pride myself on being an honest person…and I truly *do not see* what they think isn’t flattering on you. I love it!
