For our guest book, we’re having a bunch of handkerchiefs for people to sign that we will later make into a quilt. I ordered two small baskets, one for blank handkerchiefs, and one to hold the finished ones. They’re cute but do these go with my decor? If no, what other suggestions do you have? Do we even need baskets/containers? Here’s a picture of the basket, our centerpieces for reference and the reception room.

I think it should look great! It’s really sweet and vintage-y, which is what peonies make me think of.
Maybe if you were able to get brown wood baskets? Maybe that would fit the decor of the room better. You can find brown baskets at the dollar store and even at goodwill.

I like the light color against the heavy wood color. It helps lighten it up, however the thick woven pattern isnt a match in terms of “style”… but you know what. NO one will notice. Keep it because you have it already.

Do you have any place where you could display the handkerchiefs like this?

@julies1949: That’s so cute but I don’t think there’s really anywhere to hang them up. It’s just a small private dining room.
