Does it currently have a corset back? If not, I'm guessing you could get one put in to add a little extra room.
No, it's a zipper back.
I have heard that turning into corset backs can be helpful.
I'm worried that between my first and second alteration (June and July) I'll have gained even more weight. I'm wondering then if a corset back would be ideal for me.
Thanks! :)
definately see a seamstress about adding a corset back! it does wonders for folks with fluctuating weights or if you have a fear of gaining or losing weight before the wedding.

Unfortunately I have a medical condition that will require me to take medicine which will up me a dress size between now and my wedding (which is August 2010, and we are currently in March 2010).
I've had this great size 8 dress and I'll probably no longer be able to fit in it by the time of my alterations in June. But a size 10 would work. I'll call David's this week and find out if this is a dress that can be taken out. This is a discontinued DB dress so I don't know if they can just tell me over the phone.
Just for some early answers, does this look like a dress that can be let out? I'd only need the letting out for my stomach and upper body.
Thanks! :)
