what Krissycake said, its a shimmer not shiny and the fabric looks beautiful. dont forget its all about the light so in a different room it will look different
i think it's stunning and that it catches the light instead of shines... it looks very luxurious.
It's definitely more shimmery than shiny. Can you have it ordered in another fabric?
Remember that your photog can light correct for things like that :)
I agree with others- its more shimmery then shiny. I think that it'll make you stand out and glow in your wedding photos. But, if you are in doubt over it, take some time to continue to shop around and maybe find something you like better.
I love the style, but not the fabric so much. Maybe shop around for a similar style, but diffect fabric./
It would be pretty shiny for me too, but you know how you feel about the dress.
A friend of mine wore a soft satiny material like this. It looks great in person. She said it felt like liquid chocolately butter on her skin =]
Does it come in a matte satin or silk? I agree that it's too shiney.........satin can look like that and make it look cheap, but it's a great style on you!
I think it's pretty, but I understand why you're worrying about the shiny factor. It's pretty shimmery, though, more shimmery than shiny! But if you're not comfortable in it, move on!

I think that it is actually really gorgeous and has that WOW factor because it is so shimmery! You would definitely stand out (in a good way). The fit is also really great on you!

Since I'm asking that question I think I know that this is not the right dress for me. I do love the fit, the sweetheart neck, and simplicity. I would love a less shiny version of this. Back to the stores to try and find The One!
