Does this sound legit?

Hmm, this does sound like a weird arrangement.  I’ve never heard of any professional videographer giving their raw footage to another production house to edit.  Why can’t the person who’s shooting the video edit it for you?  I would probably look for a different vendor.

Have you found any reviews on them? If not, I would be a little weary to use them as well.

twinter91:  Hmm I guess that concept isn’t totally bizarre but I personally think its super unprofessional not to get back to potential clients in a reasonable time frame and I definitely judge businesses who are slack, it really puts me off!

When deciding on our videographer I read a tonne of independant reviews, watched lots of examples of their work, looked all through their facebook page etc. til I found one I loved.

I don’t think you’re being paranoid about wanting to get this sorted either, our wedding is next March and i’ve already booked our videographer! I figure you can never be too organised, and I didn’t want to risk all the good people being booked up!
