Just wondering if this has happened to anyone before..
I am about 9dpo and have extremely sore breasts (never happens before period, especially this early) and yesterday and today I have had some light pink/brown spotting on tissue when wiping (tmi)
FI and I usually use the pull out method, but had a little mishap during my fertile period where he didn’t “pull out” entirely in time. TMI again…
AF is due in 6 days. Have had symptoms for about 4 days.
I don’t know my chances of actually being pregnant, just wondering if this sounds familiar and what your outcome was…

I personally didn’t have any of those symptoms (boobs weren’t sore until 6 weeks, and I had no spotting at all)
BUT- every body and every pregnancy is different. I’d grab a 2 pack of First Response Early Result tests and take one first thing tomorrow morning. If it’s negative, take the other one 1-2 days later.

@DaneLady: +1 It sounds like you might’ve had implantation bleeding. I would def test first thing tomorrow morning with a FRER. Are you TTC?

Our DD was conceived when DH (then BF) pulled out, but not quite quick enough. I had extremely sore breasts, but no spotting. I wouldn’t be able to tell you DPO or anything like that, though, because I wasn’t charting, nd it was almost 10 years ago…

No, we aren’t trying. But we are well aware that the pull out method isn’t the most effective form of bc.
In 6 years of using this method, this is the only remote slip up we have ever had..
That being said, we would both welcome a pregnancy. I wonder if it’s just AF acting weird or coming early.

It could be implantation bleeding. Maybe.
I agree that you should test but I would personally wait until AF is a bit closer to being due – though I know how hard that can be. The suggestion to get a two-pack of tests is a good one. If the first is negative, save the other for when AF is due and try again.
ETA: Definitely get FRERs. 🙂

Anyone else have a situation like this?

@Future Mrs.L: It sounds like IB, but it might very well be AF acting up or trying to show up earlier than usual. I would wait until AF is due to show to test. GL

I’ve had sore boobs/nipples since probably two days after ovulation. I’m about 6 days before AF is due to arrive. The week after ovulation I felt all kinds of crazy, dizzy spells, tired, nausea, just all out of sorts. This week I feel fine aside from the sore nipples/boobs. No spotting at all yet. I am not a fan of the two week wait symptom spotting. It’s making me crazy.

yeah waiting is NOT fun! I am semi nervous because my wedding is in May (ahh!). I’ll keep you gals posted.
@jny1179 keep me posted 🙂

They could be early pregnancy symptoms, but they could also just be PMS. You don’t really know for sure where you are in your cycle since you aren’t charting, so your period might be early this month, hence the PMS, or it could be late due to pregnancy OR late ovulation. I’d wait to test until you miss your expected period. Once we start thinking we might be pregnant, our bodies tend to send us all sort of signs we are, even though we’re usually not 🙂

I agree. It may be implantation bleeding, although I personally did not experience that. I also get sore boobs before every AF but since you say this is not common for you, then it could be an early symptom. I’ve have non-stop sore boobs since what I imagine was conception. I tend to agree with PP that said to just wait until you’ve missed AF since FRER average about $6 or so each test. It’s not very much fun standing there squinting and going, “Is it, or is it not???”
