I think it's adorable!
I think that works great. It's not too beachy or nautical. Plus, STD can and, IMHO, should be more fun than formal.
I think it looks nice, but is there any way you can transfer the wording to your picture of the actual place? I think that would look better.
Super cute. I saw those on Weddingpaperdivas. You can order a sample there for about $1 just to make sure you like it in person. I did that and I actually carry the invitation around to show the vendors my exact damask and green combo.
@noritake - I kind of want to keep the look of the actual place a surprise. The way it is, you can't see it at all from the road and the house with the LI Sound in the background is a very dramatic and breathtaking view once you actually get there. It's one of the things I love about it so I don't want to give it away!
I think it's awesome! Love it, so cute! I think you should order a sample, though, to make sure it looks great in person!
Also, why not do an etsy alchemy request? You could get exactly what you want!
Very cute! And as someone else up there said, STDs can be more fun than formal invites.

I've been trying (and failing) to find STDs that fit our "seaside and sunset" theme without being either too beachy (the wedding is on the Long Island Sound - no beach) or too nautical (think lots of anchors). I just found this one. I'm attaching it and a picture of the actual lighthouse at our venue.
Thoughts?
