I read WB for MONTHS before Mr Frenchie proposed… but I didn’t tell him πŸ˜‰ He kinda knew about it a few months before b/c but he didn’t know the FULLNESS of my WB addiction until after the wedding.

I felt a little funny reading WB before we were engaged but I also knew it was coming so I didn’t feel that bad.

I started reading WB about four months before we got engaged. I didn’t tell FI this, but I don’t think he would have cared one way or the other. I knew I would have been totally overwhelmed if I started planning when we got engaged, so it was good to have an idea of what was going on in the wedding world and also to have an idea of what I wanted before we got engaged.

Yes, I definitely feel like a Bee-to-Be and I love it! It gives me a lot more time to gather ideas on what I want to do for my to-be-wedding. I’m a student and the lazy days off in the summertime are perfect to browse WB!

Im a bee. Period.  I don’t feel funny that my ring is not yet on the finger.  It’s gonna be there soon enough!

I feel awesome here and love this place.  Such creativity and friendly people.  I mean, I am older and don’t have many friends getting married and of the few I do have getting married, they ask ME for advice and style suggestions so it’s great to come here and meet others who love to design and create.

I starting reading Weddingbee about a month before my fiance proposed. I didn’t feel weird at all. Of course, he had given me the go ahead to start tentatively planning. So I knew the proposal was coming soon. Even if I was still waiting, I’d still be here!

I’m engaged now, but I read Weddingbee for probably 10 months before we were. I put several (kind of arbitrary) restrictions on myself before the official engagement, because I felt like I would be too much of a crazy engagement hound if I did them. (It was stuff like not registering for Weddingbee and not purchasing bridal magazines.) I was so excited to register for Weddingbee once I was engaged!

I feel just as much a member of the hive as someone who is officially engaged, though like bellenga, I consider myself engaged without a ring. We have a date and vendors, but the ring is still on its way. But even if I wasn’t "really" planning, I would still feel a part of the community. I don’t think there’s any kind of rule about who is welcome here!

I definitely feel like a bee-to-be! I found this site when I was researching rings, and the BF caught me on it one day – and all I said was "it helps to keep me from bothering you about WHEN IT’S going to happen!!". We had some trouble with me keeping my mouth shut about the upcoming engagement (For which I am still waiting for.. sigh… 5 months since we picked out the ring..sigh) so it’s been helping me keep my cool. For one thing, I felt like a total nut for being so engagement-oriented, and then I realized SO MANY women in waiting are like that! Also.. I’m super bad. I bought "BRIDE" magazine at the airport one day and the sub rate was so low ($10 for a year!) that I subcribed.. I REALLY HOPE I HAVE A RING ON MY FINGER before the first issue comes in the mail! LOL! Luckily I get the mail. Anyways, sorry for that little ramble.. but I love this place and can’t wait till I am "official"!!!

I love WB and I just know I won’t be able to leave after the big day…

I also read it a bit before but didn’t tell my FH πŸ™‚ I show him stuff now tho, like if one of you posts a pretty picture of flowers or cakes I’ll be like "oooo come look" haha πŸ™‚

Awww "bee-to-be!" I love it! I didn’t know about WB until I was already engaged, but if I had come across it, I’m sure I would have been just as hooked as I am now!

I don’t feel funny at all! I was drawn to this site when I googled "why is my BF acting so strange/ engagement" And this was the 2 site I visited. I stopped here. πŸ™‚ I think it is really nice to have this many people to relate to. I’m so young and NONE of my friends even have serious/steady boy friends… so I can’t talk about this stuff to them… they already think I’m crazy for being satisfied with one person. lol. Plus… like most of the other women here I know it is coming… just don’t know when or how.

Hmm, I think I read weddingbee for about 8 months before he officially popped the question. I knew that the engagement would be coming, we had even talked about the time frame I could expect it. I didn’t tell my now FI about reading WB until a few months before the engagement. BUT I don’t think he knew just how hooked I really was until after! πŸ™‚

And I definitely didn’t tell anyone else about it beforehand!

Although I’m waiting right now, and not even that LONG, I still feel like a bee. I can go to other boards and give my opinion and no one is snarky and goes "YOU aren’t engaged!"LOL.

Everyone is so nice here, you can’t help but feel like part of the community!
