(Closed) Does your ring have a hole on the back of a stone?

Mines shaped kinda like a rectangle so mine has a rectangler shaped hole under the stone.

I thought it was there to maximise light going through your stone, i.e. to make it sparkle more but I might be wrong…

Mine does. I would guess that it is for lighting and sparkle.

@MrsGo:  I thought that too, but then the ring should be on your finger and that little hole should not be letting light through… unless its there for show when the ring isn’t on your finger?!?

@Corgi-cariad:  I guess you are right. Not sure how it all works ha ha! Not sure I believe it is only for cleaning purposes though…
