I have a 3/4 ct Moissanite solitaire and it definitely matches my personality! It’s classic but slightly different (being a non-diamond but white/colorless stone), simple, and understated. Fits me to a T. I’m traditional about a lot of things but not everything, not complicated or hard to figure out, and pretty shy.

I have a classic style but I am a little flashy.  I might wear a very classic dress but will spice it up with leopard printed flats.  So I think my ring which is traditional (halos have been around for over 100 years) but it’s big (to me) which speaks to my personality.

Mine definitely reflects my personality. I am extremely sensitive and sentimental but at the same time can cut you if you mess with me LOL (hence the point at the end). I am very tradional and non-traditional at the same time so I think the mix of traditional yellow gold & non-tradional diamond center stone represent that.

It’s elegant, a classic and about 60 years old, it was my grandma’s but I’m like her in a lot of ways.  I’ve never been one for trends I like to stick to things that are tried and true.  When others are buying the new fashions I tend to stick to basics that I can pair with anything and can wear until they fall apart.

I voted other, I almost went with smaller quiet and understated but I don’t think it quite fits that description either because even though in my daily life no one really bugs me about it, when it does catch someones eye they are usually in awe.

The diamond that is now in it fits my personality as well.  It’s full of color and warmth.

I dont feel my ring reflects me at all. I am very traditional but more Art Deco in style. We upgraded my ring because our 15th anniversary is coming up and the store we purchased my original e-ring was going out of business so we had to use our upgrade. We purchased the diamond not the setting. We are currently saving up for the setting and I cant wait. It will prob take a couple years to have it made or to buy it from Tacori.

First pic is the e-ring I have now and the second is what it will be (either custom or that setting)

Yes. I think so! I love pink, I am very girly girl (but at the same time love hiking, golfing, camping), if you know me then you know I am loud & hyper…I am in alot of ways traditional (being gemstones was the first traditional engagement ring.) But at the same time can step out side of the box. I laugh alot. I like to be silly & not always so serious.

I just think it fits me, very well! ๐Ÿ™‚

I like that I haven’t seen this setting much at all.  A marquis and 2 trillions.  I like that it sort of looks square or like a star.  I wanted something a bit different and not trendy.  I had a friend say it wasn’t like anything she had seen but it was exactly right for me.

I love that my ring isn’t that popular…I like to be different! I also love square edges, always have.  The emerald cut is the perfect reflection of me.  I love my ring!

OP, I think you should have an option for traditional.

My ring is a mix of two options.  I dont think its “big” but I do think the color makes it loud.  And if you ever met me you kno that’s me.  Its def unique.

Mine says I’m traditional with a bit of a ‘girly’ twist. It’s glittery, dainty, definitely not gaudy – totally matches me haha.

I have pretty classic ring-1 carat round brilliant solitaire and am not classic, preppy or whatnot. I’m a JD/MBA who is hiding her tattoos, piercings and past as a depeche mode goth. I love jewel tones and flashier clothing. I’m still not a very serious person even though I settled down. But I love my ring. I’ve had more serious jobs for a while now  and he picked a lovely piece of jewelry that matches my life as it is. Plus, it looks absolutely beautiful on my finger, which is why I asked for the “boring” ring.

I’m not sure what type of ring would really match my personality, though rose gold would probably match all the Indian jewelry I own.
