Also known as pissy man syndrome, does your SO do it?! My DH gets in these horrific moods for days at a time, and everything I say or do can be taken offensively. Luckily, it doesn’t happen too often. It’s horrible when it does, however. I’m on my time of the month at the moment, and apparently so is he!! Eek!
Does your SO experience PMS? If so, how do you handle it?

Mine doesn’t. Maybe every now and then he’ll be in a bad mood for a few hours and I call it his manstruation but it doesn’t last more than a few hours and I can proably count on 1 hand the amount of times he’s been in a pissy mood since we’ve been together.

@LittlePumpkin: DH has the infamous “Irish Temper”. It’s pretty much a constant thing how easily he gets angry. It used to scare me when we first started dating but now I think it’s absolutely hilarious. Like did you really just slam your fist on the table and curse out the soda bottle because it fizzed over and got a little on your hands? Lol.

@Aquaria: haha! Are we married to the same man?! My DH is also Irish, and gets mad over little things. It used to really scare me, too! I’d just sit quietly until his rampage was over. That is too funny. 😛 He’ll get in really pissy moods where everything just irritates him for days, which is what he’s doing right now. Luckily he only goes through this once every four months or so.

Yep. In fact, every guy I have ever dated has had a day or two of bitchiness every few months. I just figure men have a hormonal cycle as well, it’s just not as predictable as a woman’s cycle. FI gives me a heads up when he is going to have one so I know to steer clear. It only happens for a day or two every 3-4 months.

Oh yeah, my SO will get into a bad moody funk and there’s no pulling him out of it until he miraculously is back to normal. He maintains that he is being ‘normal’ the entire time though. So delusional 🙂

My husband does every couple of months, where he’s just in a foul mood for no apparent reason! It’ll usually take him a day to get over, and then he’s back to normal.
It used to be really bad when we first got together – he’d get pissed off at our roommate and take it out on me, get offended at every little thing – and I finally told him he could either get over himself or get out. He chose to stay, and learned to not let things get to him so much.

Yeah he woke up in a bad mood this morning, but was over it by lunch. It happens once every couple months where he just cracks the shits for a day or two. I find it funny, but sit quietly whenever Hurricane FH is in the same room as me.

Man, like, every month! Seriously, he has a man period. It is worse than mine. I am glad I am not alone in this though!
