My girlfriend mentioned how her husband tucks her into bed every night as he goes to bed much later than her. I think it is super cute but my DH doesnt do that. Or if he does it is very rare. What about your SO?
He does usually come say goodnight and kiss me before I go to sleep since I go to bed earlier than him, though sometimes I have to tell him to do it. So, I would say more than half the time he does.
Hahaha yes, he does. He goes to bed later than I do, when he hears me yawning he says "Ready for tuck in honey?"
It's something we've just always done.
I go to bed and wake up much earlier than my FI. Sometimes he tucks me in to bed, but not that often. It is cute though. :)
We usually go to bed at the same time, but if I go first he does tuck me in and give me a kiss. One of the millions of things I love about him.
I tuck him into bed sometimes, never the other way around. He goes to bed early and if I'm not tired I go to bed and lay with him until he's asleep.
If I ever go to bed before him he will. In the morning when he wakes up he always tucks the blankets around me. It's so cute:)
no - but thats really sweet! we both go to bed at the same time and get up at the same time.
LOL!! DH has tucked me in ever since we started living together. Sometimes I'll say ok im ready for bed and we will go in, lay a little bit and chat then he will turn the fan on and lights out and I'm all set :) Sometimes he can tell im tired and say "want me to tuck you in baby?" hehe its corny but I dont know if I could sleep as well if I had to tuck myself in ;)
Never, and honetly....I think it might creep me out. That's something my dad used to do and....I don't really want to think of my dad when I'm in bed with FI. Blech..
My SO tucks me in most nights. He stays up much later than I do, so he tucks me in and gives me a kiss goodnight when I go to bed. :)
ETA: I also give him a kiss and fix the blankets for him when I leave for work in the morning.
We go to bed at the same time so there's no tucking in. But we have our own bedtime routine that we do for each other. I fluff his pillow and turn down the comforter, he gets us vitamins and a glass of water, etc.
But the tucking in that everyone is discribing sounds super cute!

I have to go to bed at the same time. On the rare occasion I go first, like I am sick or something (I am a light sleeper- so he has to go to bed when I do-) he will definitely tuck me in! I love it. He also stands over me, hugs and kisses me before leaving every single morning :) I love it!
No... I usually head up to bed first, and fall asleep watching tv. He comes in a little later.
ahah yes he tucks me in since I go to bed much earlier, but he refuses to call it "tucking me in" because he thinks it makes him sound like my dad. So instead he says that he's "coming to give me a kiss before bed" or something of the sort. Too funny!
@KatyElle: FI and I definitly have our own little night time routine, and I certainly don't think there is anything wrong with your SO tucking you in - it sound really cute - but it's jut not for me.
I move around alot in my sleep too though so I think even if he did tuck - it would be undone in seconds. I'm a hazzard while sleeping....I've head butted him in my sleep once... :P
Ah no.. he doesn't and nor would I want him to. When I hear tucking someone in I think of a parent doing that to a child not to a person you are married to
Every single night unless we are physically in two different locations. (i.e. I'm out of town for a business meeting.)
Also, I usually either give him a kiss when he's asleep and I'm going off to work, or if he's up he gives me a kiss as I walk out the door.
I think its a really sweet routine that always starts and ends our days on a good foot.
Dh is a shift workEd with a wacky schedule. If he's home and not ready for bed when I am he'll usually will join me in bed for at least a few minutes of snuggle time.

I think it's cute, but we always go to bed at the same time! We've done it before when the other person is going for a nap, though, haha. It feels great to be tucked in and I like doing it for him, too.
I don't know why the title of this post struck me so oddly- but hell no. I mean, maybe its because I am tucking in two children of our own before I go to bed!
He works 7pm to 7am, so... sometimes! On the nights he doesn't work, and I go to bed before him, he tucks me in. Due to the holidays he has worked totally different shifts and I've been feeling not so great (so sleep is difficult for me) so I've been tucking him in, and then hanging out in bed (Reading or on my lap top). On days he is here and I don't feel good, he tucks me into bed if I'm napping or just trying to lay down and feel okay.
Most of the time we go to bed at the same time, but if he is staying up later I will ask him to tuck me in! He will make the bed over me and sit with me for a few minutes while I start to get heavy eyed. I love it :)
I guess that's what you'd call it? He says goodnight and gives me a kiss, but I can handle my blankets myself. Generally, though, he goes to bed before I do or we're in bed at the same time.
My FI will not go to bed even if he's tired, he always waits for me, so we can go to bed together. I always tell him, go to bed if you are tired. But, he never does. Sometimes, I feel bad so I make myself go to bed when he's tired. Plus, ever since we have been together (8yrs now) he ALWAYS wants to cuddle and spoon before he sleeps every night. It's cute, and I love that he wants to. <3<3<3<3<3<3
My FI never tucks me in! I also think it would be a little weird - but thats just me!
I usually go to bed first and he will come later, sometimes he will give me a snuggle - but never tuck me in.
We always go to bed at the same time, but he is crazy about the bed being made a certain way... so I run and jump under the covers and he makes it over me and then hops in himself ;)
This thread is so cute! Tucking each other in is such a regular and intimate part of our night-time routine. It is usually my partner who goes to bed first. He starts off yawning on the couch and then i tell him it's his bedtime, i take his hand and lead him to bed. We both get in and i'll spend a bit of time cuddling him and stroking his forehead (keeping it G-rated here!)
I am such a night owl so i normally leave him and spend a bit more time in the livingroom. I LOVE the tuck in!
When I sleep over at his house, yes. I stay in his room and he sleeps on the couch, so he will usually lay with me in his bed until I fall asleep (he checks to see if I'm asleep by poking me/giving me a bunch of little kisses/licking my cheek (lol >.<)/etc and seeing if I react). Once he is sure I'm asleep, he gives me a kiss and fixes the blankets before he leaves.
At my house, I can't risk him dozing off in my bed with me, so no tucking in :(
(We both still live with our parents (I think most people in our area stay at home until they marry), and our parents aren't comfortable with us sleeping together)
I always tuck him in, b/c I go to bed later than he does. I rub his back and we talk until he passes out. Then I get up and get on weddingbee. (jk. only sometimes).
We go to bed at the same time .. or if someone isnt tired we will still go to bed at the same time and the other person will stay up on the ipad or something.
My husband works night shift. So he isn't here during Sunday nights-Thursday nights. When he gets home in the morning I am usually up for the day so I tuck HIM in! YES, every morning! When I do go to sleep before him or if I take a nap when he is home he always tucks me in as well! Its something we have always done to each other. :-)
Oh & I also thought I would add we even call it "tucking in". Whoever goes to bed first will say baby come tuck me in! lol
oh yes he does. He usually forms the blankets around my body feet upward. Then when he reaches to the top he'll pounce on me and give me a kiss.

Sometimes. We usually go to bed at the same time, but if I go to bed earlier, he'll tuck me in. I like it when he does :) He's especially attentive to it if I'm sick - and will make sure I have tissues and cough drops all set up right next to me. So sweet :)
I LOVED to be tucked in ;) well, only by FI. We go to bed at the same time, but when he wakes up in the morning ( he leaves for work well before I do) he always tucks me back in when he kisses me goodbye. <3
and now I miss him.
Mr.TKE tucks me into bed because he goes to sleep, on average, 3 hours after I do. Lucky bum :)
We normally go to bed at the same time, so don't tuck anybody but the dogs in. We tuck eachother in if one of us is sick and needs a nap, though.
