Debating whether I want to embark on my DIY project for my escort cards (would have to make over 200) or just purchase basic ones. I know they add a personal touch to the wedding, but at the end of the day, did it matter?

@Diamondgurl: My escort cards were puzzle pieces, so my guests had a good time putting them together. I don’t think it’s something most people normally notice though.

I am DIYing my own only because it will be easier than hand writing everyone’s names. I’m using pre-cut carstock from Office Max and a template I made. I am typing each name, table number, and entree choice (we are offering selections) as the RSVPs are coming back. Then I can just print a sheet at a time. Mine are very basic and simple and are only costing about $20 for 100.
