Granted this was OUR DOG. My Fiance’s mom kinda… well, kept him. So, she’s pushing for us to use him as ringbearer.
My Aunt wants her bird to do it. Macaw.
Is there a trend of animal ringbearers that I don’t know about? LOL. I don’t mind so much because the dog means so much to us and it’s a casual wedding and he’ll look cute with a hawaiian shirt on 🙂

I wanted our dog to be our ring bearer because we are not having a wedding party but he is too skittish and would probably stress him out more than anything. I think it is cute though. I am not going to lie….i would crack up if I saw a bird doing that, that would be too funny…..definitely unique!

One of my dogs is going to be my ring-bearer too! We’re having a casual beach wedding. I haven’t decided on what she’s going to wear yet, probably just a collar or harness that matches our wedding colors.
Having your dog in a Hawaiian shirt will be cute!

I am using our dog as a groomsman. I want even numbers on each side, and so our dog (who is very well behaved and does great in public settings) will be the evening member of my grooms team!

Yeah… the dog might be a little untrained still but we can have someone walk him down…
On the other hand the bird is SUPER trained but lives in California. (we’re in ohio) lol so I don’tk now.

My dog was my engagment ring bearer. We were picking up the pooch at Petsmart and MM put my ring on her collar and when I noticied he said. “I wouldnt have her in my life if I didnt have you in my life.”

It is a new-ish “trend.” I attended a wedding in which the couple’s dog was the ring bearer, dressed in a tux and everything.
