My dogs chew them up so much that it doesn’t matter – I just go to Costco. Great price and I can afford to replace every 6 months. Even if your dog isn’t a chewer, I would still want to replace every six months due to hygiene concerns.

I also have a doggy canopy thing that we have outside and it’s awesome. I will find a link to it! Once they stopped being scared of it, they love it!

I got our 100+ lbs dog a bed from Bow wow beds on Etsy. Its a very durable cover that comes in basically any color and you stuff it yourself.  We put a layer of pillow s and the an old foamy in it and its awesome.  Its so comfy I could sleep on it and I just vacuum it clean. ♥♥♥♥ it!

Posting because I’m interested too – and wanted to add that I can’t believe how ridiculously expensive some of the nicer dog beds are! Yikes!

We just recently replaced our dog’s bed with a new one from Kohl’s.  It’s round and higher on one side for support.  Her old bed wasn’t bad, just a little worn and dingy.  My inlaws found a neat bed that’s made by Serta and my dog loves it when she visits there.

Here’s Lucky in her new bed.

Can’t believe I didn’t post a picture! Oh this might not be the best shot of the bed, but you get the idea.

I have 120lb dog and we have a Crypton bed for him. They are expensive but the covers wash up like brand new and the stuffing never goes flat. His is huge too!

Oh ya a picture!  also we do Costco beds in her crate because if you have to throw them out its only $20. She has a kong bed in the kitchen thats not bad but not great and a round donut bed in the bedroom.  Our whole main floor is laminate and shes a big dog so she needs something in every room to lay on 🙂

Our dog ate her bed.  She seems to view stuffed toys as a challenge, and loves nothing more than eviscerating toys, dog beds, etc.  We just use blankets/towel now, which we wash and change periodically.  She loved her bed, but it just made us too upset to see her wreck it after 3 days.

@oracle:  Drs. Foster and Smith!  They have the best beds and different ones are always on sale and the prices and quality are great.

I’ve got an 10 year old dog that’s 80 lbs, so comfort is necessary (he’s got a bit of arthritis in his back legs).  We have several different beds with orthopedic foam.  It’s comfy, lasts 6-8 months, and I get them at Sams Club for around $40.  That type of material doesn’t compress like pellets or wood chips, either.  This might sound stupid, but I actually sat on the beds before I bought them…if I could feel the ground, they went back.  If I can’t stand laying on the hard ground, why should he? 🙂

Some of these dog bed shots are really cute! I have had Costco beds, Petco beds, moving blankets, and Kurunda beds. They are all different and the dogs seem to like them all but prefer the actual couch over the dog beds lol.

We just use Duvets, so much easier to clean and so much cheaper! + they accomodate for the leggyness of my dogs
