@ImaStarr:  the only thing that came into my head is about cleaning with the watered down bleach… I’m wondering if maybe you took all her normal smells away and it’s making her nervous

@ImaStarr: hmmmm… I dunno then… I would keep an eye on her and if she doesn’t seem better I’d call the vet to see what they say. Maybe she just isn’t feeling all that great..

@ImaStarr:  I’d suggest taking her to your vet, purely because you said she’s lost her appetite, this isn’t normal for a dog and is usually the first indicator that something is wrong with pup. Take her for a check up, she might be a little backed up or something, but knowing is better than not knowing. 🙂 good luck with her!

Is it possible that there WERE storms in the area even if not over your house, and she could hear them even though you couldn’t?

Maybe she heard some fireworks?  I already have the doggy downers (in addition to the thundershirt)  ready for July 4.

@Jijitattoo:  +1

My little furgirl is afraid of thunderstorms and seems to have extra spidey senses when it comes to knowing about some that are miles and miles away. The fact that she’s being extra active and tucking her tail under her suggests more fear than illness. Definitely take her in on Monday if she continues to lag in appetite, but I wouldn’t be overly worried if everything else is normal (pooping, drinking, sleeping with thundershirt).
