Call your nurse-line. However, without cramping--- wouldn't you be sore there even if you weren't pregnant? If not... maybe you can go to an urgent care since it's the weekend.
Don't worry yet. But do call and ask--never hurts to ask professionals.
I am bumping this.
I don't have an answer but I hope all turns out well.
I suggest you follow the advice given to you by health professionals over that of strangers on the net.
Call the hospital and talk to a nurse to get an opinion. I would just to have peace of mind until Monday. :)
Making a phone all isn't going to hurt anyone, so I would suggest that. Right now, your baby is pretty shielded by your pelvis, but for peace of mind, call.
Just an update, I called Healthlink (our provincial nurse advice line) and they recommended I be seen in emerg, I just got back, they did an exam and an ultrasound, everything looks great heart rate was 148, baby was moving around a lot, he/she measuring a tad bigger than expected at 14w4d, and they could clearly see the gender (I didn't want to know because we are team green). Placenta looks good, and my previous previa has moved off of my cervix, amniotic fluid levels were great as well.
I was told to take a few days off of work, and take it easy until I have no pain anymore.
Sounds like you got good advice from Healthlink. People say that Nurseline nurses send everyone in to ER but you are a classic example of their good judgement. If the ER doc didn't think you needed to be there, she/he wouldn't have done the U/S.
Glad you had a good outcome.
@Ms Mini: Whew, good to know! Glad everything is ok with you and the baby! Also, it must have been a bit of a nice treat to find out that you are further along than you thought - now you're almost 15 weeks rather than 13, possibly 14! :-)
I just saw this thread now but very glad to hear it worked out! Good luck on training your giant pup to take it easy on you for the next year or so!! :)
So glad everything is okay!
The same thing happened to me, but when I was further along. Everything turned out just fine, and I have a healthy 5 1/2 week old baby girl!
Congrats, and wish you an easy remainder of your pregnancy!
Glad to hear you're okay! A friend of mine tripped and fell down the stairs at 6 months pregnant. So scary!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
So, earlier today me and DH were play fighting on our bed, and my 140 pound Newfoundland dog jumped up to join us, and landed right on my lower abdomen/pelvis. I am 13 weeks pregnant (could be as much as 14 weeks depending on which US you believe). It has been almost 6 hours now, and I haven't had any bleeding or cramping, but I am having a lot of soreness in my pelvic area.
I have an OB appointment on Monday, so I am not sure if I should get checked out now, or wait until Monday to be seen. I am also wondering if I should call in sick for my shift tomorrow and rest until I am seen, or if I should be okay to work.
What do you ladies think? I am also pondering calling the hospital to get their opinion.
