Apparently, earlier this week, 70% of the US was covered in snow. It was my 2 year olds first time in the snow, and he went nuts for it! Had such a blast! I want to see others playing in the snow too!
The puggle is our friends dog. The Standard Poodle is my, Kodi.

KLP: Darwin is half Standard Poodle, they are such smart dogs!
Bunnylovesbear: is that a Bernese? Beautiful! I would love to have one, they are such amazing dogs!
I live in Georgia, so snow is rare. But this is from our big snow of the year (last month). My puppy was only interested in eating the snow. hehe
Aww, the puggle that my friends had was just interested in eating it too...
Kodi on the other hand was only interested in playing in the snow and WITH the puggle :-)
i'll have to see if i have any pics of my doggies in the snow, but these pics are so cute!

Thank you!! Yes, she is a Bernese Mountain dog. She's such a good girl....although she DOES think she is a 100+ pound lap dog!!

The first one is my FI throwing a snowball in Sage's face (LOL - kinda mean! but she loved it). The second one is the girls playing together, even though it looks like they're fighting - that's just how they are. And the last one is Sage eating snow. She LOVED snow once she realized that she could eat it.

We don't get snow here which is good, because iggies hate snow! This isn't our dog, but a lot of IG's do this, I'm sure ours would too.

And this winter, after a BIG storm! It was about as deep as she is tall. She'd leap over to underneath the picnic table, do her business there and leap back to the house. :)
We live in Minnesota, so snow is something we don't usually have a shortage of! The first picture is Buddy sitting in the first snow of the season. The second is him all worn out from playing with our foster dog and me at a later date.
Everyone's pictures are adorable! I especially love the dog with the background of frosty trees you took, Cbott!

We call that type of dog a cattle dog here and yours looks similar to our little red cattle dog... well, he was quite fat actually! Ill have to hunt down an old photo!

We dont tend to get much snow here in Sydney, Australia....
They are in doggie heaven now, this is them about 6 years ago asleep on my floor, trying to share the blanket.
Leo is the bigger one, a Rhodensian Ridgeback and Toto is the little fat red guy, a Red Cattle Dog (Red Heeler sometimes called).
Dogs are SO funny playing in the snow!

Tucker loves the snow. Which makes for good pictures, but sucks when its cold out and he wants to lay around and make Tucker-Angels!

Here's Hershey with DH. We didn't get any snow this year and I'm so glad we didn't. But we went up to Mt. Rainier a few weeks ago and took Hershey with us. I don't know if you can see it in the picture but shortly after this photo was taken, her back leg started cramping up because it was so cold. Awwww, my puppy dog was cold.

Snow pooches! Here's Ace - Some of you might remember that Ace helped his "Dog Dad" propose to me on Christmas morning...
Here he is the day we brought him home (it snowed at the end of March in 2008)
and the following year all grown up!
